Eco Companies and Building

Eco Companies and Building Branding, Graphic Design Participation in the tender notice for awarding the conception and realization of logo “Eco Companies and Building”. The logo “Eco Companies and Building” was developed as a eco-labeling trade mark: to be perceived as such, the graphic sign must have the formal characteristics of a "stamp" of quality. The result is a simple, effective and easily recognizable form. The choice fell on the project of an abstract sign: the mark consists of the sum of the letters of the word ECO, true common denominator of the operation. In a concentric composition the sign wants to suggest the gradual advancement towards sustainability. Proceeding to next steps it seemed appropriate to use it as a metaphor for a reduction in consumption and in optimization of energy resources. The progressive reduction is also applied to the green tint that gradually lightens.

STC

Development of a dynamic logo STC and web interface Art Direction, Graphic Design, Web design STC is the abbreviation of the address of Bachelor degree in Science and Techniques of Graphic and Multimedia Communication, within the Institution Salesian University in Venice. It appears winning the idea of applying a dynamic logo that could express fluidity, change, development, looking for an avantgarde. In a digital image, the smallest color distinguishable unit is the pixel; we could say that in the same way the human being is made of cells. The combination of these small units gives rise to a form, to a body. The graphic idea that is the background to the design of this logo is the same logic that develops in the game nine-points (you have to connect these without lifting the pen from the paper ever with only four sequential portions). We start from the binding points to create a path that exceed this sense of finitude. It is thus created an original visual genome: small dots combined and drawn in different scales allow the creation of a multitude of geometric designs.

Dynamic logo consists of a square 2x2 with transformation through animation and button to return to the homepage

Main menu placed on the horizontal navigator

Slideshow with thematic photographs in transition and animation in pixels Side bands textured by graphic elements prompting the logo

On these two pages you can see the application of the logo on printed paper and gadgets, such as business cards, letterhead, notebooks, moleskine, shopping bags, cups, bottles, cans and so on. The website has been redesigned in a more ergonomic and functional style, and also versatile for various devices, including tablet and phone.

Museo Architettura Razionalista del '900

Museo Architettura Razionalista del '900 Art Direction, Graphic Design Predappio is a little town in the province of ForlĂŹ-Cesena; it stems from the construction of a new town, called at the beginning Predappio Nuova, which was the incorporation of Dovia, the birthplace of Benito Mussolini.

I wanted to mention the strong rigidity in form and in structure, and the very strict compositional and conceptual geometrism, connotations that are associated with fascist ideology. I wanted to follow a more modern line to bring the Museum of Architecture Rationalist 900 in today's world, without removing the appearance of past. I wanted to detach myself from the net ideological position, as the adherence to the theme fascist, so I added the warm and vibrant colors, as orange and purple, but at the same time I pulled a black and a white in order to give the logo a touch of elegance.

Sendrino

Sendrino Branding, Graphic Design, Packaging A regional company producer of mandarin liquor, based in Paternò (CT) operates in Sicily passing the baton from father to son since 1980. The family tradition that characterizes the product, however, limits a wider customers: in fact little can be known abroad and a local

niche market hinder the increase in sales of products and the maximization. The customer wants to expand abroad and I want to take this opportunity to launch in order to renew their identity. The company does not have a naming, much less its own logo.

The liquor is bottled in the cellars of the home, without using a label and a specific identity pack. After a first analysis, I analyze the competitors, identified my potential customer reference and created a mood board.

Pintaudi's Panettone

Pintaudi's panettone Graphic Design, Packaging The Pintuadi s.r.l. is specialized in the production and distribution of a wide range of pastries made of the highest quality in achieving a perfect balance between the use of innovative technologies and respecting the traditional sweets. There are several product lines, some more classic such as Pintaudi biscuits and other suitable for holidays such as panettone, colomba, presnitz and gubana.

In addition to creating labels for the whole range of panettone and colomba, I proposed for the classic panettone a second package, not yet realized, that could make the cake a classic product to give away. Different versions have been made, where the ingredients became lettering and decorative visual of the package. The inside is orange with a texture made of vanilla flowers.

Roncato UNO SL

Roncato UNO SL Branding, Graphic Design, Product Design Participation in the workshop "The ideas never sleep", 2012 edition. Group 3: Award signaling.

The client Roncato required to analyze their suitcase Roncato UNO SL and then realize some graphics solutions for the body of this model. He also suggested the creation of a custom logo for this series of trolley.

We wanted to build on the strengths of Roncato over its competitors, that are the Made in Italy and the respect for the environment.

For graphics of the body we have thought something that never goes out of fashion and of which we get bored to carry around with us on our travels: my thinking, my beliefs, my ideas. On this concept, we have created so many different graphics, which shall not pass away, but fashion will represent us in front of other people.

Graphic for blinds

Graphic for blinds: multisensory experiences Art Direction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design The graphics for the blind: see with hand. Design of multi-sensory experiences. This is the work of my thesis project, which arises as an attempt to assign the same role to the graphic design as communication for both the visually impaired and for people with visual impairment, proposing the creation of experiential atmosphere, supported by multisensory potential. I made a box that contains 21 design drawings where I have translated into a language for the blind some graphic products of the most important graphic designers of the twentieth century and three works of art. I used different materials, such as cards Fedrigoni cards Favini, upholstery, glass color, adhesive papers matte and gloss, wood, wool, perfumed essences ... The box is called "vistattile", an Italian neologism: view + tactile, and Latin vis/ roboris, that means "the power of touch". Â The die-cutting on the lid is the eye, through which, however, the blind person is unable to scorgervi nothing: it is the experience of the blind sight. The eye becomes the hand that touches: in fact, the hole becomes a handle to open the box, inside of which are the design drawings.

- 70/71

I wanted to promote this thesis with a graphic design based on a commitment meritorious from a social perspective. I am firmly convinced, in fact, that the designer must take into serious consideration the ethical and moral issues, since his profession is lowered into the community and therefore implies a role of responsibility. Â We can do graphic designer graphic art educational and annotated, making this profession a universal language.

- 72/73

For these works I used a lot of diferent tools, like wood, wire, felt, cardstock, wool, sand paper, glossy paper, upholstery, zipper, faux fur, matte paper, corrigated cardboard, cords, wadding, pyrography, velvet sticker, scented paper, orange essence, knurled paper, glass colour, airball, crepla, pasta with mica, chalkboard paper, transparent feet.

- 74/75 Finally, I tried to apply the same translation into a language for the blind also three art-works, Lucio Fontana's Taglio, Piet Mondrian's Composizione in giallo, rosso e blu and Keith haring's Heart.
