At Silversea we believe that nothing can rival the wonder of our world. Our curious minds propel us not just to keep exploring our magnificent planet but mostly to experience it. At Silversea our mission is to unlock the most amazing experiences and destinations, and deliver them to you in superlative comfort and luxury. We will never stop searching for the unique, the bold, the bizarre and the beautiful. You can be secure in the knowledge that the flame of our explorer spirit will never go out. Because at the end of the day, we are all travellers, itching with wanderlust, eager to discover what is still left out there.

“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us ANONYMOUS

MANFREDI LEFEBVRE D’OVIDIO The Ambassador Extraordinaire

Nothing is as thrilling to me as anticipation of travel. Whether it is planning, packing or boarding one of our vessels, travelling always reminds me of when I was a child, eager to explore the world. Getting older, that curiosity is still alive. I am still looking at how I can increase my collection of places and cultures. For me today, there is only one way to travel and that is to travel in luxury and comfort. I am amazingly fortunate because Silversea allows me as well as many other travellers to visit the remotest corners of the world, in superb comfort. But how do I define luxury? Luxury is authenticity, or experience over appearance. It is drinking in the beauty of the world at the highest possible comfort level. It means exclusivity. It means immersion. It is about creating the wonder that we felt as children. It is taking the time to care for you. That is real luxury; for me and for Silversea.

“Travelling the world is relatively easy nowadays, but to do it in superlative luxury? This can only be done with Silversea”.

CHAIRMAN OF SILVERSEA CRUISES

“When I hear people say that there are no blank spaces left on the map, no uncharted seas or shores to discover, nothing new to explore, I can’t believe it”

AN EXPLORER’S HEART

Conrad Combrink / SVP Strategic Development Expeditions and Experiences When we launched Silversea Expeditions, it was met with a certain amount of scepticism. No one believed that we could combine an expedition product with the luxury that Silversea was known for. Now, with four expedition ships in a fleet of nine, I believe that our vision proved correct. Since Silversea Expeditions’ birth, not only have notoriously hard to reach and difficult places become cornerstones of our product, but we have striven to cover every inch of coastline possible. Because to me, modern exploration is about putting places on the map you did not know existed; and deliver them to you in luxury. The world is constantly changing and we need to continuously evolve our product and this is why we launched the Couture Collection. l believe that now that Silversea has conquered the seas, it can conquer land. After all, over 71% of our beautiful planet is covered by water; there is still almost another 30% left to discover.

9

WHY SILVERSEA Silversea is committed to making your voyage unforgettable. And that not only means taking you to the most beautiful and hard to reach destinations on the planet, it means taking you there in the comfort and elegance that you deserve.

10

Intimate Small Ships

Big enough for everything you need yet small enough to remain personal. Our ships range in size from 50 to 304 suites to ensure each of our guests finds the perfect balance between choice and intimacy.

Over 900 Destinations

Awarded many times over, our itineraries are probably the best in the world. And when we say the world we really mean it, visiting all seven continents. With over 900 destinations visited in 2019, whether it is iconic cities or far flung shores, wherever you want to go, you can get there with Silversea.

Superior Service

With a staff ratio of mostly 1:1 and a dedicated butler for every suite, our service remains the jewel in our crown. Devoted, discreet and experienced, these dedicated men and women are the key to turning your trip into a longlasting memory.

Gourmet Excellence

Perhaps our most talked about distinction, our innovative gourmet excellence stands head and shoulders above the rest. From fine French cuisine, delicate Asian options to relaxed Italian family-style meals, our chef’s creativity knows no limits. And with 26 food choices offered on Silver Muse alone, we know you will have your best gourmet experience at sea.

Italian Heritage

As soon as you are welcomed on board, you become envelopped by the whispered luxury and warmth of our Italian heritage. We expect only the very best in hospitality, sophistication and pampering at sea; as members of our extended family, we think you do too.

11

OUR FLEET, OUR FUTURE

Roberto Martinoli / CEO Silversea Cruises It is a new era for Silversea. We face the most ambitious fleet and product portfolio expansion in the history of the company. We are proud of our people and excited with the new professionals that are joining us. We know that with our latest flagship Silver Muse, we have raised the benchmark of luxury cruising. Silversea will partner once again with Fincantieri for the construction of a sister ship, tentatively named Silver Moon, expected for Autumn 2020. Keeping our vessels boutique in size is perfect for our luxury product – providing an intimate on board atmosphere with personalised service that is simply second to none. Thanks to our small ships we can easily access hard to get to destinations allowing you to discover more and travel deeper. Our fleet now encompasses nine, soon to be 10, luxury ships. Ranging from 50 to just over 300 suites they all boast a tireless crew dedicated to your needs 24-hours a day. Without the best crew at sea, Silversea would be just another product. They are our real treasures, and make the difference between just being on a ship and being at home. I will never stop thanking them for their tireless and incredible work as without them, we would not be here today. We look forward to welcoming you on board soon. Happy travels.

A SOCIETY OF FRIENDS

Fernando Barroso de Oliveira / Chairman’s Ambassador to the Venetian Society

A couple of years ago, when I was aboard Silver Whisper, a guest came and said to me, “I would love to visit Portugal with you one day. What do you think?” And so it happened. We met, toured the province where I was born, went to Évora, saw a bullfight, visited a friend’s vineyard and tasted her wines, and ended up in the Algarve. It was one of the best holidays of my life, made even better because I could share my home country with my friends. In my 20 years with Silversea, I have seen guests arrive as newlyweds, and return with their grown up children. I have seen couples return year after year. I have seen families evolve, friendships made and unbreakable bonds form between staff and guest. And I have seen our Venetian Society grow from being just a few loyal guests to what it is today, a group of like-minded friends who love to travel in superlative style.

“If you have ever travelled with us, you know what I mean. And if you are still considering your first cruise, welcome to the family.”

FIRST CLASS

Christian A. Sauleau / EVP Fleet Operations “Dedicated to high standards of quality and service excellence there is simply no better company to travel with”

Silversea is close to my heart. Our unique combination of Italian elegance and warm hospitality simply cannot be rivalled. Delivering a superlative experience in the farthest corners of the world is a daily challenge that we look forward to undertaking with a smile every day. Our Fleet Operations team – of which I am proud to be part of – works tirelessly to make sure you have the best experience possible. So rest assured that even if you are in the remote Mergui Archipelago or the chilly waters of the Arctic Circle, our unparalleled service is always our number one priority. Apart from our onshore staff, our 2,400 crew members from around the world are all part of the dedicated men and women that moves 8,000 tonnes of food to the ships, and serve over 3 million meals a year! Like any gourmet recipe, everything relies on a perfect combination. We believe that the daily efforts of our amazing team are really what add the special something to our fleet. And is undoubtedly the reason why we have remained leaders in luxury cruising since 1994.

17

“As part of the Silversea family, we are encouraged to think outside the box so that we can bring a special touch to your voyage

18

Around the world and around the clock, every suite comes with a dedicated butler to pamper you with personalised attention, and take care of every detail and indulge your every whim with efficiency and expertise. As a Senior Butler for Silversea, I make sure that no stone is left unturned when it comes to your comfort. As part of the Silversea family, we are encouraged to think outside of the box so that we can bring a special touch to your voyage. If you want to have a party in your suite then I’ll arrange the invitations, canapés and drinks. Perhaps you’re celebrating? Champagne for everyone! A romantic dinner under the stars or breakfast on your balcony – consider it done. It is an honour to be a part of the Silversea family. Filled with passionate individuals there is nowhere else that shows the standard of service in quite the same way.

19

AROMATIC ARCHITECTURE

Rudi Scholdis / Culinary Director

My best memories all have a connection with food – shared bowls of pasta in Italy, an octopus ceviche in Lima, a delicious meal of reindeer in Iceland… too many to mention but all are treasured. So it was with trepidation that at Mr. Lefebvre’s request, I first set foot on a cruise ship over 16 years ago. The challenges of providing exquisite meals for hundreds of people every night, while at sea, were many. Yet today, I believe that Silversea is simply the best when it comes to gastronomic excellence at sea. Being at the forefront of culinary development has allowed me to focus on many aspects of dining that I would not have had an opportunity to do elsewhere. Life is never quiet in the kitchen and this has kept me motivated and dedicated to a career that I love. There is nothing better, after a satisfying day of exploration, to come back to an amazing dinner with great wines and friends. After all, the food is as important as the destination.

“Travel is built on many things: adventure, impulse, storytelling and promise, but nothing brings people together as much as a good meal”

CAPTURING THE AUTHENTIC BEAUTY OF THE WORLD Barbara Muckermann / Chief Marketing Officer, Silversea Steve McCurry needs no introduction. He is, and perhaps not only to me, the greatest living photographer today. His iconic “Afghan Girl” image has captured the hearts and minds of thousands – the eloquence of her haunted expression, telling the world of her fate through her vivid green eyes – is simply stupendous. So when considering our new direction, Steve was a natural choice for us. He is a born storyteller with the soul of an explorer. His unique ability to capture what is left of the authentic beauty and truth in the world, and express it with clarity and emotion is just brilliant. A McCurry image not only takes you on a journey, it inspires you to travel the world. Perhaps it was Steve’s friend, the travel writer Paul Theroux, who best summed it up when he said, “It is impossible to see a Steve McCurry photograph and not to wish to be there”.
