Silver Sage Region, Porsche Club of America Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting June 1, 2016, Conducted at Porsche of Boise Members Present: President Paul Kaczmarek, Vice President John Sommerwerck, Secretary Blair Baertsch, Treasurer Rob Grover, and Past President Chris Beeson. Membership Chair Walt Gammill. Members in attendance include Derek Parker, Gary Cuddeford, Tom Welsh, Bob Pentecost, Vicki Pentecost, Walt Thode, Randy Bloom, Lori Kaczmarek, Hal McMillan, Linda Prusynski, Robert Rathbone, Ken Robinson, David Hawk, and Stafford and Kent Smith. 1.
President Kaczmarek called the meeting to order at 6:24 pm.
Old business: A. Autocross Clinic and Competition – Margie and Paul Baehr. Margie and Paul will host an Autocross 101 the night before the event. Registration 7:00am, cars on course 8:00am. Three skill exercises will be set up and participants will rotate from course to course. The Autocross course walk before lunch. Time trials will be begin after lunch and competition will be over around 3:00pm. B. BBB Progress – Hal McMillan. Eighteen cars have signed up for the Hillcross. Six cars are signed up for the fun drive. The golf outing has been set at eight participants. Forty-four people have signed up for the BBQ. Thirty-eight people have signed up for the banquet. Robert Rathbone has obtained Stihl blowers to clean the course June 9 starting at 3:00pm. Trophies will be photo mugs. Thirty-five T-shirts have been ordered. Dave Keim is organizing the radios. Randy Bloom has organized the mystery event. The awards dinner will be held at Chandler’s Steak House. King and Queen Letterman jackets have been approved. EMT services are in place. C. Zone 6 D.E. at Oregon Raceway Park – Paul Kaczmarek and Derek Parker. Three SSPCA members will participate. D.
NASCAR K&N race at Meridian Speedway – Kent and Stafford Smith. Kent offered the SSPCA a discount package for Septembers NASCAR event held at Meridian Speedway. Unfortunately, the event is the same night as the SSPCA Anniversary party at Spur Wing.
Coffee and Dirt – Ken Robinson. Three cars participated in the drive around the Robie Creek area. No mishaps.
