Chairman Corner “As I pick my daughter up from basketball practice at a location other than SBA each day and take her to SBA to practice on Saturday at 8:30 am with my son’s basketball practice starting immediately when hers ends, I’m reminded how wonderful it will be to have an additional gym that our 6 teams can use for practice! I’m asking the Lord to provide for this building in ways that will give Him all the glory!”
Tiffany Askew | Campaign Co-Chair
The gymnasium will feature seating for over 1,000 fans and provide opportunities for hosting tournaments and other large events.
WANT TO BE IN-THE-KNOW? You can! Mrs. Hansard: Legacy
Worship The Creator Night
What is legacy? It simply means putting a stamp on the future and making a contribution to future generations. It is paying it forward. People want to leave a legacy because they want to feel that their life mattered. It is having an eternal perspective.
As many of you are aware, every February we have mandatory K-12 parent meetings to keep you informed of everything going on with your child. This year during this mandatory meeting, we will celebrate our Lord during “Worship the Creator Night” from 6:30-8pm.
Silverdale Baptist Church founding families believed in legacy. They invested in the lives of our children without ever meeting them. They joined God where He was at work and sacrificed for us. How humbling. My challenge to all of us: - What legacy are we leaving? - How can our eternal perspective be strengthened? - What is God calling us to do?

SAVE THE DATE - FEBRUARY 6TH
This will be a fun-filled night for children grades K-5th where they will play games, do crafts, and experience the sense of community like never before. We ask that our 6-12th grades share in our worship service in the sanctuary with their parents. We look forward to seeing you on February 6 at 6:30pm in the sanctuary! Students in Mrs. Trogdon’s kindergarten class drew a picture of themselves in the Silverdale Center doing what they love to do - art, dance, sports, and more. These folders are their prayer journals, so they prayed over their location after they drew it!
Prayerfully consider your gift.
