2:15—5:30 *Not open on school holidays or pro D days We meet at Parkiew Elementary at 2:15 and from there we walk over to our home base at the Sicamous and District Recreation Centre (Upstairs at the Arena). Parents pick-up kids at the Rec Centre.

FALL PROGRAMS 2013

Monday Active Sports Come join the action! Mondays are Active Sports days. We’ll make use of the school gymnasium and outdoor sports fields. All activities will teach the basic skills for each sport with each lesson tailored toward the participants skill level with an emphasis on fun!

Outdoor Activities Tuesdays Activities will be conducted in the good ol’ outdoors on Tuesdays. Activities indoors if weather is uncooperative.

Wild Wednesdays Games Galore Games, arts, crafts, baking and so much more!

At Active After School Kidz our goal is to provide youth and their families with active participation in a safe, stable and flexible program that is accessible to everyone of elementary school age.

Basketball Drop-in

(all 8 sessions) or $8.50 per drop-in

……is a provincial youth basketball program designed to develop skills, sportsmanship and a love of the game of basketball. This grassroots initiative supports and empowers community-based recreational groups and facilities, schools and other institutions across Canada in an effort to positively influence youth through basketball. The goal of the program is to allow participants the opportunity to maximize their potential, while promoting the importance of youth basketball as a vehicle to build character, discipline, self-esteem and sportsmanship.

Pickleball Drop-in At Parkview Elementary Learn how to safely and effectively workout using the fitness equipment from a certified fitness trainer.

Thursdays Oct. 24 Nov. 21 Dec. 12 6:00 PM A great night of crafts with parents and kids. Cost is $2 per person (covers the cost of craft supplies)
