Clapping for Holistic Health Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikar
We clap spontaneously to cheer or to express joy! We also clap during musical prayers called bhajan and arati! But when I realized that clapping stimulates the corresponding areas of brain, I hypothesized that it would be useful in toning central nervous system and promoting health!
Then onwards I began to clap as a part of my routine workout! Later I also realized that clapping would be beneficial from acupressure and/or reflexology point of view! Now I clap enthusiastically during workout with great respect for the ancestors of mankind!
