FACE SHAPE ANALYSIS

OBLONG I THINK SHE HAS OBLONG FACE SHAPE AS SHE HAS ALMOST EQUAL WIDTH ACROSS FOREHEAD, CHEEKS AND JAWS.

INCORRECT HAIRSTYLES

HAIRSTYLES SHOULD NEVER INCREASE LENGTH OF THE FACE RATHER SHOULD CREATE WIDTH.

CORRECT HAIRSTYLES

HAIRSTYLES SHOULD BE SUCH THAT COVERS THE LONG FOREHEAD AND CREATES WIDTH ON FACE. OUTWARD CURLS, FRINGES CAN HELP A LOT IN THIS.

NECKLINES SHOULD NEVER INCREASE LENGTH BUT SHOULD BE WIDE AND MORE ANGULAR.

CORRECT NECKLINES

NECKLINES SHOULD BE MORE ANGULAR AND WIDE IN ORDER TO CREATE WIDTH AND ANGLES SUCH AS SQUARE NECKLINE, BOAT NECK, OFF SHOULDER.

SUITABLE EARRINGS

EARRING SHOULDN’T BE LONG AND SLEEK, RATHER SHOULD BE ROUND OR ANGULR AND WIDE.

SUITABLE NECKPIECES

NECKPIECES SHOULD BE CLOSE TO NECK AND ROUND RATHER THAN LONG.

FOR AN OBLONG FACE SHAPE, ONE SHOULD HIGHLIGHT CHEEKBONES AND ACCENTUATE THE MIDDLE HORIZONTAL PART OF THE FACE. CONTOURING SHOULD BE DONE ON FOREHEAD AS SHE HAS LONG FOREHEAD. LOWER PART OF CHIN SHOULD ALSO BE CONTOURED A BIT. APPLY BLUSH ON THE CHEEKBONES IN ORDER TO HIGHLIGHT THEM AND ADD MORE WEIGHT HORIZONTALLY. STYLING EXPERIENCE

ITWAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE STYLING A CLIENT. A GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE ON HOW TO UNDERSTAND THEIR NEEDS, COMFORT LEVEL, LIFESTYLE AND ADJUST WITH ALL THE CIRCUMSTANCES AND DO STYLING. KNOWING THE INNER WISH OF HOW THEY WANT TO LOOK, HOW THEY ACTUALLY ARE, MAKES IT AN EXPERIENCE OF LIFETIME. ADJUSTING WITH HER AVAILABILITY AND TIMINGS WAS A CHALLENGE BUT I SOME HOW MANAGED, IN OTHER WORDS I LEARNT TO BE PATIENT. CUSTOMER DEALING IS AN IMPORTANT ASPECT WHICH CANNOT BE TAUGHT AND THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO LEARN IT BEFORE WE ENTER THE ACTUAL INDUSTRY.
