Bring Food! HELP! SHPC is hosting the Mission Presbytery Meeting on March 1st &2nd. We need: 50 dozen sandwiches (cut into halves or quarters), 20 fruit or veggie trays, 80 dozen cookies, 10 lbs bananas, 8 lbs grapes, and LABOR! Food needs to be delivered to the Wm Cannon kitchen by 10 a.m. Friday, March 1st . Email Beth Watson at if you can work! We still need more than 40 volunteers!

Join PrimeTime to go Washington-on-theBrazos, birthplace of the Republic of Texas.


We will travel on a 55-passenger bus from the William Cannon campus to Washington on the Brazos and back. We’ll leave at 8 a.m. and return about 6:15 p.m. Maybe we will see some bluebonnets on the ride! Box lunch and museum admission are included in your reservation.

Do you enjoy crocheting/knitting? Do you need a place to express this gift or maybe you are ready to learn from others? All are welcome. We have hooks, needles, and yarn. Just come! We teach, encourage, and praise!!

Reservations will be taken in the William Cannon narthex on March 3 and 10. Cost is $25 payable with your reservation.

Although neither are large, there is a morning group and an evening group — something for everyone! Mornings meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 10 a.m.; evenings meet 2nd Tuesdays at 6 p.m. NO quotas, NO deadlines, and we provide instruction for beginners!
