Service of Healling & Wholeness April 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the William Cannon Sanctuary God is with us, even in our pain and brokenness. In this service of prayer and music, there are opportunities for quiet reflection and meditation, as well as opportunities to pray with someone. As a community of faith, we bear one another’s burdens, and walk with each other in joy and in sorrow. Join us as we pray for wholeness in our lives and in the world.

Construction Is Underway! Construction has begun on the new Brodie campus Family Ministry Center. This is a very exciting time! While construction is underway-for the next 5 to 6 weeks--we will all need to stay away from the construction area. Please be especially attentive with kids as there will likely be hazards in the construction zone. Let’s keep this a safe work-site for all workers and SHPC family!

Honoring Our Inner Self Our God teaches us to be kind to ourselves during times of crisis. He calls upon us to treat ourselves with respect, patience, and wisdom. We are precious and deserving of special care during pain and worry. Perhaps a Stephen Minister could be of help. If you, or someone you know, could benefit from the Christian friendship and care of a Stephen Minister, please call the church office at 512892-3580

TRUE STUDENT MINISTRIES What You See is What You Get The way we see God often shapes the way we experience Him—and most especially the way we relate to His greatest commandment: to love Him with all our heart. So how do we deepen, or even change our view of God? How do we start to see God in a way that allows us to love Him as He loves us? Come to True and find out! True meets on Sunday Nights for High School & Wednesday Night for Tween and Middle School. 6:00 - 7:45 • April 2nd & 6th -He Loves you more than you know

Join the VBS Team! Spend a week with us at Workshop of Wonders VBS, as we help our children discover the amazing love of God at work all around us. As Workshop of Wonders Visioneers, we will create experiences for children that will illustrate how the ordinary becomes extraordinary with God through Bible story dramas, creative crafts, super fun games, science activities, and more!

• April 9th & 13th -I matter because God says I matter

We have openings in both Preschool and Elementary VBS, and would love to have YOU on the team!

• April 16th -Stop asking what can they do for me and start asking what can I do for them?

Register at www.shpc.org/children for a VBS leadership role, and join us in the excitement June 16-20 as we Imagine & Build with God.

• April 30th - Night of the Angry Banana

Unable to join us during VBS this year? No worries, we have opportunities for before and after VBS, and we can always use Prayer Partners and supply donations. Contact Director of Children’s Ministries, Chris Gordon, for more information. Chris@shpc.org
