Happy Birthday Brodie Campus! This Sunday we are celebrating the launch of the Brodie location one year ago. Our first Sunday at St. John’s was on November 11, 2012. It’s hard to imagine that just over a year ago we were having dessert meetings to see who wanted to commit to being a pilgrim to help form our core group at the Brodie Campus. I want to give a BIG thank you to the whole church for making this all possible. Thank you for your prayers, your financial support, your encouragement and your presence. Thank you to all the pilgrims for answering God’s call and leaving your familiar surroundings and familiar faces at the William Cannon Campus to venture further south. What a great first year it has been. We are looking forward to all that God has in store as we continue to reach out to the surrounding community with the good news of Jesus Christ! Join us for lunch & cake today after worship at the Brodie Campus as we experience the 1st Big Story Live with kids & parents! Serving You for His Glory!

All Elementary children are invited to join us for Christmas Pageant rehearsals on the following Wednesdays: November 6th, 13th, 20th & December 4th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Narthex. We would love a few helping hands to assist with rehearsals in November. If you are available during rehearsals to read lines with children, practice songs, or keep kiddos busy while they wait their turn, please email Chris Gordon: If you have a preschool child interested in being a sheep, shepherd or angel, please email

Pastor Britta Dukes your child’s name, age and role preference. Preschool children will only be asked to attend our dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 7th at 9 am. Performance will be Sunday, December 8th at 5:30 p.m.

A Big,

BIG Debut for Big Story Live! Today

Big Story Live! is a 45-minute interactive, exciting experience that takes place the second Sunday of each month through the school year. Kids and parents come together to learn about God’s Big Story.   Because our goal is to partner with families, these performances point to what we’re teaching in UpStreet on Sunday mornings, so they give parents the chance to explore our monthly theme, scripture lessons and Life Application in a super-fun environment!
