Expedition Information

Expedition information Health and fitness The Everest Base Camp trek is strenuous, but does not require that you have any previous trekking or mountaineering experience. The only requisite is that you are in good physical and mental condition, and that you can hike with a backpack for 4-6 hours daily without completely losing the plot! The altitude affects people differently, but it is common for participants to experience mild headaches on the expeditions after a day of ascending. Despite this, the effects of altitude usually subside after a few hours, as your body naturally adjusts to the altitude. To aid the acclimatization process we factor in two acclimatization days. We require that anybody with past medical conditions seek medical advice before enrolling on an expedition.

expedition guides Our experienced, enthusiastic, and English-speaking team will ensure that you get the most out of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, whilst maintaining your personal safety at all times. Tap into our guides’ local knowledge to make the very most of your trip.
