Trailblazer - March 2025

March2025

Whitetail Club Members,

They say good things come in small packages. February may have had the fewest days, but we made the most of every one of them. With record snowfall this year, we have spent lots of time on the ski slopes, sledding hills, and exploring trails, enjoying the best of winter. And although the snow makes for a lot of fun, it also requires a considerable snow removal effort. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to keep things clean and neat.

Last month also marked the annual McCall Winter Carnival. Our team and float represented our version of Carnival in Paradise, and we had a great time celebrating together. At the club, we had many culinary-focused events on the calendar, including the sold-out Underground Dinner last weekend, which was enjoyed by all. Be sure to check out the gallery to see all the fun.

Amid our recruitment efforts to ramp up for the summer, we are also in the final stages of the recruitment process for the new Club Director and hope to share a more detailed update soon. In other staff news, we are excited to share that Cory Strobaugh received a coveted invitation to attend this year's Pinot Camp held in June. This gathering takes place in Oregon and brings diverse and influential restaurant and retail wine buyers to Oregon for collaborative educational and social events. We are thrilled to have Whitetail Club represented at this prestigious event, and Cory will be excited to bring all he's learned back to the club.

In March, we start communicating around our signature golf tournaments, which kick off with the announcement of the Men's Invitational. In the weeks to come, Poncho Romero, this year’s Chairman, is working with the Whitetail Club Team on this year’s tournament rules and event itinerary. Stay tuned for details later this month. The field will be finalized on April 5th, when we gather at the club house to watch the NCAA Men's Final Four basketball games. Be on the lookout for emails later this month. Ladies, have your mint juleps and hats ready. Details for the 2025 Ladies Member Guest, "Run for the Roses," will roll out soon after.

Real Estate remains busy with both new inquiries and closings. Last month, the final Bentgrass within the Fairways Townhome Community went under contract. Four Pencross Plus models are now being built and will be the final opportunities to be amongst the Fairways Townhomes. Act now if you are interested. We expect 2025 to be a busy year for real estate. We encourage you to reach out now if you have a referral interested in experiencing and touring Whitetail Club.

Join me in welcoming four new families to Whitetail Club: Don & Joan Newell from Phoenix, Arizona, Mike & Laura Bill from Eagle, Idaho, Wes Centers from Eagle, Idaho, and Karen Eastman from Boise, Idaho. We look forward to getting to know them at upcoming events or around the community.

Sincerely,

Tom E. Garcia
