Dear Whitetail Club Members,

This month brings new developments and exciting events happening at Whitetail Club as we prepare for what promises to be an exceptional season ahead.

By now, you have likely received our Ladies Member Guest invite and/or watched our promotional film that provides a sneak peek of what can be expected from this year's Great Golf Expedition! If you haven't RSVP'd just yet, please reach out to The Golf Shop to lock in your spot. Similarly, invites for the 2024 Men's Invitational Tournament will be hitting mailboxes early this month – which will feature the official itinerary, tournament rules, and information on Generation Radio – this year's Summer Concert that will bring 80s rock and classic music back to life.

Save the date for our June 1 Members Only Wine Dinner as we partner with Napa Valley's finest winery, Duckhorn Vineyards. Cory Strobaugh, our Beverage Program Manager, is finalizing the menu. This promises to be a fun evening for all who attend, and I hope to see you there.

Renovations for The Fish & Swim Club are coming along nicely, and we are on track to have everything in order ahead of Memorial Day weekend. Likewise, our golf course is shaping up beautifully, with minimal damage observed around the greens and tee boxes. Our team is diligently preparing the course for our Season Opening Tournament on May 25. If you haven't already – make reservations to join us.

The marina is also being prepped for the summer as we are in the process of adding additional spaces to accommodate the growing demand. We will be reaching out to those on the waitlist upon project completion, so please stay tuned for further updates.

On the horizon, Phase 3 of our real estate expansion in Adams County is moving forward steadily, with renderings soon to be finalized. The level of interest from our membership has been great to see, and we're excited to share its official launch later this month.

In staffing news, the recruitment process for the Club Director position is nearing completion, with final interviews and site visits underway. Additional details will be shared once a decision is reached. Finally, our Member Portal will be launching two new features within the next two months that will elevate both your experience and our operational flow. Learn more on Page 7.

This July, the ladies of Whitetail Club are taking off on a globetrotting adventure at the 2024 Ladies Member Guest! Our golf course will be transformed into a trip around the globe to embark on The Great Golf Expedition. This three-day event will consist of golf, culinary delights, fine wines, and plenty of mingling. You won’t want to miss out on all the fun. Bon voyage, ladies!

This event kicks off another exciting golf season in Idaho while providing the perfect opportunity to reconnect with fellow members, share off-season stories, and prepare your game for the upcoming season. From noon – to 6pm, there will be a total of three tee times. Play will be restricted to foursomes. Post-golf, enjoy a complimentary round of drinks, food, and an afternoon of good times out on the greens.

Dear Whitetail Club Members,

Greetings to all of you; if I have not met you yet, I wanted to introduce myself. As the Whitetail Club/ Shore Lodge Beverage Program Manager, I wanted to reach out to you and share some exciting events coming up in 2024.

On Saturday, June 1, we will be hosting a Members Only Wine Dinner with Duckhorn Vineyards at the clubhouse at 6pm. Duckhorn has a long history in Napa Valley. They produce some classic styles from the region as well as having a number of different brands they produce. For this event we will be focusing on the main Duckhorn Vineyards line with cuisine paired by Chef Von Blarcaum as well as Chef Stewart.

On Friday, September 13, we are excited to invite Long Shadows Vintners, from Walla Walla, back to McCall for our fall Members Only Wine Dinner hosted at the clubhouse. Long Shadows has long been a favorite winery of mine in Walla Walla as they showcase Celebrity winemaker collaborations.

I also wanted to take a minute to talk about some of the other benefits that I am happy to facilitate for our members:

On the last Saturday of each month, it is my pleasure to host a Complimentary Wine Tasting for our members at the clubhouse from 4-6pm.

We have a Whitetail Club member wine-buying program. We offer wines to members for substantially less than retail prices. For quicker service, you can choose from wines currently in our program. I have a wine list available for your review with member pricing, or we'd be happy to procure wines that are distributed in Idaho for you. We will charge these orders to your member account and have them available as early as possible for pick up at the clubhouse when convenient.

Round of A-Paws for Wilson!

Congratulation to our very own Wilson on winning Dog of the Year in the 2024 Lebano Dog Days of Golf calendar. When Wilson isn’t working alongside Rick Mooney, he can be found swimming, chasing sprinklers and perfecting his fetching abilities. A portion of his cash prize will be donated to the K9s For Warriors organization. Keep up the great work, Wilson! #DogsofTurf

As the final snow melts in McCall, the progress made over the winter becomes unveiled. With lots of interest in our new builds, we encourage you to contact our Real Estate Team if you are interested in any of these homes.

The snowy winter gave the building team the time to finish all interior framing and structural buildout. With that work completed, the focus for this month is on setting doors, hanging sheetrock, and painting on a large scale to prepare for interior finishes. May is the month of interior detail work. Tile, interior stone, and cabinet installations kick it all off.

Over the winter months, the team has been working on final flourishes to complete this home by the end of April. As they wait for the snow to melt, they'll commence on the looping driveway and landscaping to ensure this home has a scenic landscape that complements its striking architecture.
