Some vehicle makers are cutting lines while others expand. It all means great deals ahead for the consumer. By Andy Mikonis Times Correspondent

The sales numbers are in for 2009, and although it appears bleak, a closer look shows there are signs of recovery for this dynamic industry. Predictions for a 10-million unit sales year, as we reported in last year’s NWI Now auto section, held true for a grand total of 10,431,509 cars, pickup trucks, minivans, crossovers and sport utility vehicles sold in the United States. This was down from 13 million in 2008, and 16-17 million for the previous years of the decade. We saw many automakers retool and refocus in 2009, with Chrysler and General Motors reorganizing under bankruptcy protection. The good news? Virtually every industry analyst is predicting increased overall U.S. sales in 2010 in the 11 to 12-million-unit range. This is partly based on a surprising uptick in sales in December. Approximately half the brands selling in the U.S. saw sales increases over December 2008. The biggest gainer was Kia, which saw a remarkable 44 percent sales increase, Hyundai-Kia Automotive saw a 42 percent increase as a whole. Ford Motor Company came next with a 33 percent sales increase. Toyota and Honda followed with strong December gains. “December 2009 may be remembered as the month where interest in new cars returned if activity on our site is any indication,” said AutoTrader.com president and CEO Chip Perry. “Many consumers are feeling more confident about their jobs and the economy going into the New Year, and those factors, coupled with lots of exciting new models in showrooms, should drive an increasing amount of foot traffic to new car dealers throughout 2010. The typical AutoTrader.com visitor is looking to purchase a vehicle in 30 to 90 days, so new car dealers and auto manufacturers may have something to celebrate in the next quarter or so.” Another factor coming into play is “pent-up demand,” meaning many consumers have been holding on to their cars longer, accounting for some of the reduction in sales. We talked about pent-up demand last year, but now the trade publication Automotive News reports 14 to 15 million vehicles were scrapped last year. Do the math; that’s a lot of extra vehicles that haven’t been replaced yet. So what are car companies doing about it? One tactic is to create a stronger, leaner company by selling or closing brands. Ford, whose gamble of not taking government bridge loans is paying off, started this trend early by selling off Jaguar, Land Rover, and Aston Martin. More recently went Volvo and a stake in Mazda. Similarly, General Motors closed Pontiac and Saturn, and is in the process of selling Hummer and Saab. GM says they are focusing on their “core brands” of Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC. Interestingly, Chrysler went in a different direction after joining forces with Italy’s Fiat, separating trucks from Dodge into a new Ram brand. Toyota also announced that the Prius name would be expanded into a separate brand featuring hybrid vehicles.

But it goes further than the marketing and juggling of brands. Automakers are still making major investments in U.S. plants. At last month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Ford announced an additional $450 million investment in its Michigan Assembly Plant for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle production, creating 1,000 new jobs. This is on top of $550 million already slated. Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm was on hand for the announcement and said, “We know the auto industry is back!” Since then, you’ve probably heard Ford is investing another $400 million in its Chicago Assembly and Chicago Stamping plants to launch production of the next generation Ford Explorer, creating 1200 new jobs. Also at the Detroit show Stephen Jacoby, president and CEO of Volkswagen of America, said VW had seen growth over the last six straight months of 2009, and their new Chattanooga, Tenn. plant would be on line in one year. He cited a $1 billion investment that will create 11,000 jobs and build 150,00 cars a year. A GlobAl MArketplAce The Detroit three automakers have come to the realization that, as global players, they need to tap into the best powertrains and platforms they have worldwide, and stop building completely different cars for different markets. GM is leaning heavily on its German Opel division’s acclaimed platforms for new Buick

and Cadillac products. Small cars with European roots were the buzz at the Detroit show with Ford showing the 2012 Focus, and Chrysler the Fiat 500 which looks to be the perfect fit for their product lineup. Now that gas prices have been down and the economy seems to be picking up, will consumers still want small cars? Ford’s sales analyst George Pipas says it’s all about the demographics. Addressing a recent meeting of the Midwest Automotive Media Association, Pipas said. “Gas prices are overplayed as a factor in what people buy” though the “volatility of gas price leads to more thoughtful choices” by consumers. Where the demographics come in is in changing needs of the baby boomers, who comprise some 46 percent of sales and were the biggest buyers of SUVs and minivans, are now becoming empty nesters who don’t need large vehicles anymore. Also, 49 percent of first time buyers buy a small car. To appeal to older people used to more luxurious appointments, and tech-savvy younger buyers, both Ford and GM have laid out plans for stylish small cars with a lot of available options. But don’t count out trucks and SUVs yet. “For many vehicle shoppers, a larger car is a necessity because their family size or job requires a larger vehicle,” said Perry. “In 2008, these buyers held onto their vehicles and sat out the market. They look to have returned in 2009, pushing these larger vehicles back up in popularity.”

One trend your local dealers interviewed for this section confirmed is that used car sales are hot. Prices have stayed strong due to a shortage of used vehicles coming into the market, especially late model certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles. “Those CPO buyers who weren’t scared away from buying by the challenging economy found that in many cases there just wasn’t available inventory of CPO vehicles because these leasing programs had dried up,” said Perry. “But as credit eases for both consumers and auto manufacturers, we’ll see a return to normalcy in the CPO market. Certified vehicles remain an important component of manufacturers’ and dealers’ sales strategies going forward into the future.” People still need cars. The consensus in the industry is that sales will gradually rise over the next few years as the economy recovers and consumer confidence is restored. One thing is for sure: there’s some great deals and incentives going on right now to spur sales. Christenson Chevrolet is stronG on trADition Founded in 1951 in downtown Griffith, Christenson Chevrolet has been in its present Highland location since 1963. Dean Christenson says the key to this longevity is a family tradition of active involvement in the business. “My Father Milford, my Grandfather, Warner Christenson, and two uncles Dale Christenson Sr. and Roy Christenson were the original owners,” says Christenson. “The dealership is presently owned by Milford Christenson, Dale Christenson Sr., Dale Christenson Jr., and Dean Christenson Sr. Other family members working here now are Philip Christenson, used car manager, Dean Christenson Jr., parts manager, Tara Christenson, advertising and Ervy Christenson.” The rest of the story is having an experienced staff. “We have 65 employees in our dealership,” says Christenson. “Our sales force of 16 salesmen is very experienced, averaging well over 15 years in the business. Our service department has 13 technicians of which five have the “World Class” certification. With the closing of some nearby dealerships, we recently hired five individuals from these dealerships. Three in sales, one in parts, and one in service.”

We have had to increase our service hours and staff to keep up with demand. New car sales keep improving. With the great products in our lineup, I

A long family tradition, with pride and dedication to what they do, has made Christenson Chevrolet a landmark of service and customer satisfaction. believe that with any improvement within the economy, our sales will explode.” As for evidence of those great products, Christenson says it’s already here, and there’s a lot more to come from GM. “Beginning with the all-new Malibu two years ago, the Traverse, Camaro, and now the Equinox, GM has proven they can build good quality cars that people want,” he explains. “We presently have more cars that get over 30 miles per gallon highway than any other manufacturer. We are looking forward to the new Cruze coming in late spring or summer that will replace the Cobalt. It is slightly larger than the Cobalt and will get 43 miles per gallon highway. And before too long we will have the much-anticipated Volt, the all-new Orlando and a new Aveo.” Christenson Chevy keeps 250-300 new vehicles at all times, carrying a large selection of the top sellers: the new Equinox, Malibu, Traverse and Camaro. They also stock a wide variety of commercial vehicles equipped with dumps,

flat beds and box trucks. “The used car market had fallen with the rest of the economy,” says Christenson. “This market has been coming back and we expect to have a strong used vehicle car sales year.” Christenson stocks about 125 used vehicles, most of which are GM Certified. The service department is now open Monday through Saturday 7:30am to 5:00pm. They service most makes and models, do factory warranty repairs on all GM models, GM Medium duty trucks, Isuzu Medium duty trucks and they accept all extended warranty contracts. “We run various special each month,” Christenson adds. “Some are in the paper, direct mail, and the last few months we are using e-mails.” Christenson Chevrolet supports a wide variety of community groups and organizations. “We just donated a brand new Chevrolet bus to the athletic department of IU Northwest,” says Christenson. “We support the Theatre at the Center

were enjoying the atmosphere. The car business isn’t dead.� While Lexus is known for not offering incentives, Pete says the company has been offering reduced 1.9% and 2.9% finance rates on select models. At press time, it was on IS and ES, but check with Lexus of Merrillville for current specials. “We’ve occasionally seen this years ago,� says Pete, “it’s standard operating procedure at the domestic manufacturers to subsidize finance rates, but not for us. The rates from Lexus are exceptional right now.� “Pre-owned cars have been selling very well in this market,� says Pete, “certified pre-owned cars are doing extremely well, especially with people who might not want to buy new right now.� Pre-owned Lexus vehicles are less

than six years old, and have less than 70,000 miles, and have to be in like new condition. A three-year, 100,000-mile warranty with 100% coverage is included at no extra charge. Lexus is even offering 1.9% financing on select certified preowned models. “We have a nice blend of certified pre-owned Lexus vehicles, and other luxury brands, including domestics. CENTER CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP CARRIES ON AN 85 YEAR TRADITION Cedar Lake dealer delivers sales and service with a personal touch Cedar Lake, IN Center Garage was founded in 1925 by John Schutz, and named for its location in what was then known as Center Township. It’s now a family owned and operated business, with grandson John G. Schutz still an owner. Now known as Center Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram, they’ve sold Chrysler brands since their opening, including DeSoto and Plymouth in the past, adding Jeep in the late 1990’s and is recognized by Chrysler as a 5-Star dealer. The present management team of Mark Fentress and Bryan Klein invested in Center in 2007. “Looking back, it was probably the worst possible time in terms of the economy,” says Mark, “but we’ve quadrupled sales in the last two years. We now have more porters than there originally were employees. We have 90 employees now. We changed big and it was a challenge to still treat customers on that one-on-one basis, but it’s important to us.”

“We pride ourselves on the hometown, high touch feel,” adds Bryan. “We want to be on a first name basis with our customers. We’re trying hard to be an honest dealership because we don’t want to sell you just one car, we want to sell you all your cars.” “Our claim to fame is Center Value Pricing,” says Mark. “You can pick up a low mile 2008 or 2007 model for half of the original MSRP. There’s a big market for well cared for late model vehicles at great prices. People have come in from long distances for it, southern Illinois just last week, Michigan, and even New York.” Mark says the best sellers on the new vehicle side right now are the all-new Ram pickups. “We’re very proud of Ram,” he says. “We believe Ram is the best truck out there. The Ram 1500 has received multiple awards, and the 2010 Ram Heavy Duty just won Motor Trend Truck of the Year. We want to be the top Ram dealer. No one in the U.S. will beat our prices. We’ll beat any written offer.” Other solid sellers at Center are the legendary Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans. As well as Jeep Grand Cherokees and Jeep Commanders.

THE FUTURE OF CHRYSLER

What’s in store for the future of Chrysler? “We believe in the product,” says Mark. “We think the Fiat involvement is a good thing. We’re very excited and optimistic about the new product plans we’ve seen. The fuel mileage goals they are setting by tapping into Fiat’s small car technology are a great thing. The interior designs that are coming look sleek and have a bit of a European flair by virtue of the new ownership. Center sells all makes of used vehicles as well. Mark says there are typically 400 vehicles to choose from between new and used. “Chevrolet is really strong around here so we keep a lot of used Chevys in stock,” he adds. “Every used car goes through our shop for an inspection. We want to sell cars you can count on.” You can see all of the new and used inventory on our website www.centercars. com. “We also take used car orders,” says Mark, “if there’s a specific vehicle you want we’ll locate it and buy it for you. You can apply online for a loan. We make it easy if you’re credit challenged. You can apply in the privacy of your own home and we’ll give you a phone call to discuss the options.” The service department has ASE Certified Master Technicians as well as Master Certified Chrysler Dodge Jeep technicians. “We’ll work on anything,” says Bryan who is also the ROBERT WRAY | THE TIMES service director. “There’s about 180 years of combined experience in our shop.” Center will change your oil in 30 minutes or it’s free - if you have an appointment. “18-year old kids are not changing your oil either. We have trained and certified technicians doing it and we’ll do it cheaper than your standard quick oil change place. We stand by our work. For our technicians this isn’t just a job, it’s a career. They take their work very seriously.” Bryan says watch the website for lots of service and maintenance specials. You can also sign up for the VIP Service Club at no cost where they will text specials to you, often one-day only deals they use to fill the shop on slow days. “You won’t beat our prices on tires,” adds Bryan, “and when we give you a price it’s the total including installation. We don’t tack on mounting and balancing fees afterwards.”

Center also has a VIP car buying program. When you buy a vehicle, you sign up and get an ID number and cards you can give out to family and friends. If you send someone in who buys a car, Center sends you a check for $200. “We just think word of mouth can convey a buying experience better than any advertising,” says Mark. Cedar Lake influences Center’s business plan. “We love the community,” says Mark. “We’re in the middle of four of the fastest growing zip codes in Indiana, yet it’s still a small community with good people. It’s a unique town with great natural resources.” Center employs special touches to keep that hometown feel. “We have a nanny on staff Wednesday through Saturday,” explains Mark. “She’s a retired lady who greets customers, and watches their children. She has some activities and card games for them. We have a car show every month in the summer. We support local organizations, school sports teams, little league teams, the Lions, the Jaycees... We are trying to be a good member of the community.” As far as his outlook for the car market and the area economy, Mark reflects: “We’re sensitive to any financial hardships the community at large is feeling. The car business is very fractured and tenuous right now, but this dealership has seen a lot of downturns and upturns in its 85 year history. It even burnt down and was rebuilt in 1989. Unfortunately, some of the dealerships cut by GM and Chrysler had been around that long, too. We’re doing our part selling affordable cars people can drive and truly depend on. The market is different but we don’t worry about it. If you have a good product at a good price, people will come in. Everyone needs a car and we’re selling cars just like we did last year, like we have for 85 years.”

RIDGEWAY CHEVROLET STANDS STRONG THROUGH LONG HISTORY OF SERVICE!

You’ve most likely heard about General Motors’ announcement that hundreds of dealers will be losing their GM franchises. Lansing, Illinois’ Ridgeway Chevrolet is one of those “wind down” dealerships, but there’s more to the story. “We’re fighting to keep our business after 82 years,” says owner Bob VanRamshorst – better known as Bob Van. “People are groundswelling around us,” says Van, “something I didn’t expect.” Van is appealing GM’s decision and he makes a compelling case. Clearly the bean counters at GM had to make some snap choices, and it appears they didn’t look closely at Ridgeway Chevrolet’s sit-

Van says, “Since 1927 Ridgeway Chevrolet has survived the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean War and other international conflicts, and eight recessions. Most recently, we survived even bigger hurdles when the State of Illinois decided to do the biggest construction project in the nation by widening 80/94 to 15 lanes at our Torrence Avenue exit. For over three years, the exits, bridge and road in front of our entrance were shut down. Many times our loyal customers would call us from 80/94 and say they had been sitting in traffic for 45+ minutes trying to get to our dealership but they would apologize and tell us they had to turn around as they could not get to our location. Over this three-year period, we lost a lot of our business due to the construction project.” Then, about the time the project wrapped up, as we all know, the economy went down the tubes and took

As General Motors continues to close dealerships, Ridgeway Chevrolet employees have been making a compelling case to avoid being wound down, citing their long history of success despite adversity. “it helped us get through the bad times.” Not only that, once the road opened up the special helped double their customer base in 2009, and is still available today. Bob points out GM’s own figures suggest there’s a 66% chance a happy service customer will come back for their next new car. Ridgeway still has new cars available while they await GM’s final ruling. Meanwhile, Bob agrees the used car market is strong today. “It’s picking up faster than new cars,” says Van, “People are cost conscious right now. You can buy an ’09 for $10,000 less than brand new.” While he’d like to continue running the Chevrolet franchise his grandfather

the new car market with it. Looking at Ridgeway’s sales performance during this period is certainly not a fair assessment of the business. Bob brings up some other interesting facts. No fewer than six Chevy dealers closed within 10 miles of Ridgeway even before the GM cuts. Also, even though Ridgeway is in what you might consider Ford country— right in between the Ford plants—Chevrolet is still number one in sales in their market area. There are a lot of Chevy people around here who need a dealer! Bob didn’t sit still while all this was going on. “We started $14.27 oil changes with a hand car wash during the road construction three years ago,” says Van,

started, Bob says, “Whatever happens, it’s in God’s hands.” Even Lansing’s mayor, a loyal customer, has written an appeal to GM and offered to go right to Detroit if necessary. Either way, Ridgeway will stay in the car business. “We want people to know we’re going to be here regardless,” says Bob.

Two of the only car companies showing sales increases for the last two months are Nissan and Kia, but Michael Kors of Southlake Auto Mall isn’t just jumping on the bandwagon. He saw their potential a long time ago. “My dad started the dealership in 1976,” says general manager Sonny Kors, “we’ve been with Nissan since ’76, and Kia for about 11 years now.” With two solid product lines to sell, the Kors family knows the rest of the formula is solid customer service. Southlake was rated highest statewide in customer satisfaction by Kia in two quarters of last year, and consistently ranks in the top tier of area Nissan dealers.

“We have a better used car selection than most ... anything from $3,000 and up.” Sonny Kors, General Manager Southlake Auto Mall Kia especially has been doing extremely well, one of only three automakers to show sales gains last year in the U.S. We asked Sonny what is the secret to Kia’s success? “The product has come a long way in the last few years. They seem to get new products to market quicker, too” he answers. “We have plenty of new Kias to choose from,” says Sonny. “We have the 2011 Kia Sorento, built right here in the U.S. in West Point, Georgia. Kia had three new models in ’09, the Soul, Forte, and Forte Koup.” The quirky Kia Soul is a big hit at Southlake, and Sonny says it’s finding an unexpected following. “Soul was targeted to younger buyers in the 20-30 year old range, but we’re finding customers are 50 and up,” he explains. “It has a comfortable seat height comparable to a minivan, but it’s a lot more stylish. There seems to be a lot of people looking for less expensive vehicles out there. We have about 100 used cars in stock. There aren’t as many new cars being built, so that means fewer used cars.” “All our cars are listed on the website www.southlakeautomall.com along with new and used car specials. You can fill out a credit application online and get

the ball rolling. Most everybody does some amount of research online, whether it’s on local dealer Web sites or national brand Web sites. Today’s customers are far more informed.” Southlake works hard on creative ways to get people financed. “The issue is still credit,” explains Sonny, “but we’ve got some new lenders we’ve been dealing with, like local credit unions. vice and save money there.” Sonny acknowledges the bumps in the road, but sees underlying strength in the economy: “There have been plenty of challenges to the car business with things like dealerships closing, and the Toyota recall. But people still need to buy cars. They are still shopping.”

There’s still more new vehicles to come this year from Chevrolet. “The new Chevy Volt electric car will be in our showroom this summer,” says Al. Also watch for the Cruze, just shown in Detroit and Chicago in its production version, a compact sedan powered by a turbo-

charged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that gets 40 mpg, and a new Silverado HD pickup for 2011, with an all-new chassis and next generation Duramax diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission, was just introduced at the Chicago Auto Show. “Used vehicle buyers are currently looking for certified vehicles with warranties from reputable dealers,” says Al. “This strengthens the market for Mike Anderson Chevrolet. FRANkiE’S AuTo SAlES ExPANDS DyER loCATioN Dyer dealer builds on reputation of standing behind every vehicle they sell

The big news at Frankie’s Auto Sales is their recent expansion. “We’ve doubled our lot,” says co-owner Alan Stock. “We took over part of the Dyer Auto Auction. We now have the whole frontage from Clark Avenue to the train tracks.” Frankie’s founded the Dyer location eight years ago wholesaling cars, but people driving by kept stopping to have a look. “We started selling to the public, then advertising,” says Alan, “now we always have a fresh inventory of 140 to 160 vehicles to choose from.” While Dyer is the main store, Frankie’s also operates a satellite location in Lynwood, Ill. “The difference at Frankie’s Auto Sales is what we do before you buy the car,” says Alan. “Every car gets an 80-point inspection at our repair facility, and it gets brakes or anything it needs. We pride ourselves on standing behind what we sell.” Frankie’s specializes in low mileage cars, from 2000 to 2010 models. Alan says about 35% of the cars still have the factory warranty. “Any car I sell gets a three-month or 3000-mile warranty,” Alan says, “but we’ve been known to go beyond that.” In charge of buying new inventory is co-owner and Dyer resident Rick Burchett, who has over thirty years of experience as an expert mechanic and body man. Rick has a sharp eye, spotting good cars or avoiding bad ones. That’s their advantage over other dealers who buy cars online they can’t even see. They purchased a second car hauler and

Values are getting stronger, supply is going down, there are fewer new cars coming into the market. It’s been

harder to find nice ones,” Cary explains, “Fresh Used Cars means something to people. We’re doing more business from outside the area, too. We’ve had people from Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, Kentucky, and Tennessee coming to get used cars.” Bosak Auto Group’s service department regularly runs maintenance specials and works on all makes of cars. “We always have seasonal specials to try to keep up with the demands of the weather,” says Cary. “Our detail department is expanding, too,” says Cary, “we do detail work for several other dealerships. The Northwest Indiana Auto Trade Association (NIATA) was organized in the 1950s mainly as a club for the owners of new car dealerships in the area. They would get together at social events and have golf outings and other activities. In the mid ‘90s the association reorganized, and with new members involved, they came up with a new logo and a new plan.

>> Promoting Local Businesses ... First, they decided to establish an associate membership level. This allowed companies in the area that were doing business with the dealerships to join the association. They began planning events that would benefit Northwest Indiana and would include the help of their associate members. One of the first events they held was a trade show for associate members to set up booths and showcase their businesses to the area dealers.

>> Supporting the Community ... Once the trade show proved successful in strengthening business relationships and the organization itself, perhaps the most important decision was made. Members voted to begin a scholarship fund for Northwest Indiana high school students seeking to further their education in an automotive field. The first annual fundraising golf outing was held. Dealers and associate members worked hard to raise money, and in 2002 the first scholarships were awarded to five area high school seniors. To date, the NIATA has awarded close to $70,000 in scholarship money to area students. Another important decision was to get together as a group and hold special sales at their dealerships where a certain dollar amount from every vehicle sold would be given to a charitable organization. They have given to organizations such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana, CAMP (Caring About Military Personnel), and American Heart Association - Go Red for Women, just to name a few. For 2010, the proceeds from the Spring Sale will go to Campagna Academy and the proceeds from the Fall Sale will go to CAMP. And these are just the donations that are done through NIATA. Each dealership member also gives thousands of dollars on their own to support local little league teams, soccer teams, churches, schools, girl scouts and many, many other organizations.

Not only do they support your community through giving, but each dealership employs an average of 50 to 60 people (or more) and generates millions of dollars in sales tax revenue. John Hennessy’s father Joe started River Oaks Ford. “In 1966 he moved to Calumet City, so it’s been 43 years at this location,” says John, who serves as vice president. “We pride ourselves on having 70% of our customers from repeat business and referrals. When a customer walks in, odds are we know who they are. We sell cars to kids and grandkids of some of our customers.” Over the years, the Hennessys have learned their customers appreciate a solid staff they can depend on to be there time after time. “We feel our employees are the key to our continuing success,” says John. “The average employee’s tenure is 15 years. Despite economy, cars are flying off the lot due to company’s dedication to value and customer service Since their Valparaiso opening in November of 2008, the award winning R&B Car Company has built a huge customer base and it continues to grow weekly. When we opened the Valparaiso location the timing was right.” “A new car loses 25 percent of its value when it’s driven off the lot,” Cretacci points out. “With a preowned vehicle, someone else has already taken that hit, so you can drive the car you want for about half the money. R&B also works with customers to make sure they get a car that fits both their criteria and their budget. “It doesn’t do us any good to send someone off the lot with a $600 payment they can’t afford,” Cretacci says. “We want to set our customers up for success because we want a customer for life. We want to retain that customer and we want them to tell their family and their friends about us.” In a similar vein, R&B Car also provides in-house financing avenues that can help customers with blemished credit get the car they want. Finally, Cretacci says, R&B Car Company’s owners are always onhand. He, Moore, and a third partner, Dan Green, are continuously out in the dealerships, so customers with questions can go straight to the top. With the Valparaiso location up and running at 1059 U.S. Highway 30, Cretacci is eyeing future expansion, which promises even greater selection and better prices. “By 2015, we will have about 12 locations,” he predicts, further fulfilling the company’s promise that “We ‘R’ where you auto ‘B’.”
