Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese With the month of October almost gone, fall décor is getting harder to find at local roadside stands, and as we usher in November, cool weather hints that winter is not far off. This wagonload of pumpkins looks like it just drove in from the field with Mr. Jack-o-Lantern at the reigns. A selection of mums compliment the wagon, but their numbers are dwindling fast, so get them before they are gone. This lovely scene was part of a local roadside stand and it certainly brought many smiles to those passing by this autumn.

Ephrata Middle School 528 Theatre Fall Production

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1 First United Methodist Church, 68 North Church St., Ephrata, will hold a Free Community Meal. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Serving at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call 717-7336646.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3 The Bareville Fire Company, 211 East Main St., Leola, will host an All You Can Eat Breakfast and Chicken Corn Soup Sale, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. There is a cost.
