The allvolunteer Lincoln Fire Company has kicked off its 2020 Fund Drive Campaign. The organization provides first due emergency service to western parts of Ephrata Borough and Ephrata Township, as well as eastern Clay Town ship. The company responds to over 340 calls annually. The success of this fund drive is paramount, as it
represents 80% of the company’s budget. There is no direct tax in the Ephrata area for fire and rescue services. maintain operational ex penses including six pieces of apparatus, the station and the modern portable equip ment, as well as expenses to assure the best training possible for personnel to maintain their skills and lifesaving capabilities.
