“THE DOUBLE BIND” OPENS ON DECEMBER 8TH!

“The Double Bind” written by four playwrights and directed by Bryan Craver, Graeme Duke, Bella Lewis, and Brittney Pearson will be presented by Peak Productions December 8th–10th at 7:30 p.m. in the Western Studio Theater of Taylor Hall. Directed by Western students, this production contains four separate shows, each one varying from the others, creating a night of tension and absurdity. With such different shows, “The Double Bind” focuses on a wide range of characters including a couple coming to terms with their failed past and inevitable future, a young man determined to make his family appreciate his more scaly side, a girl tormented by the insecurities manifesting before her, and the not-so-incredible and inappropriately outspoken unsung heroes of Metropolis. Admission is $3 for Western students with ID and $5 for general admission. Tickets are available at Western’s Bookstore or a half-hour before the performance in the Studio Theatre lobby. For advance ticket reservation or for more information contact Peak Productions at 970-943-3013 or by emailing peak@western.edu

GDI (Gas Fuel injection) prevalent in many newer vehicles and dating back to 2008 in some models requires service that was not as critical on non GDI vehicles. Carbon deposits accumulate on the intake valves due to the fact that the fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber vs. conventional injection at the port near the intake valve. Fuel additives in fuels that would normally limit the deposits are no longer targeting the intake valve, causing accelerated deposits. A new product/procedure has just recently been devised as a solution to this issue, using a specific formula it gradually dissolves the deposits. Precision Automotive has purchased this specialty equipment and can perform this service, saving costly engine damage. Call Precision Automotive for an appointment at 641-4040. (11/30/127).
