Arubian Musicians loosing gigs to foreigners We were informed by a few musicians that they were being let go, and replaced by Latin and Dutch decent. We were also informed that these persons can’t play local music or even Caribbean music however they are offering such low rates that the businesses find it hard to refuse, we are talking about the rage of $50 a night. With these prices they are killing the market, and the people are the ones loosing out as all the get is a man and a machine entertaining.

Drug addict attracted tourist. A guest of ours that had to much to drink had informed to police that he was attacked by the bus stop on L.G. Smith Boulevard, what the police could have understand was that he stayed at the Rui Hotel, the police dropped him off to his hotel were his friends took him up to his room, police informed them that after his hangover has passed for him to come and make an official complaint.

Person locked a prostitute in her room. Police was called in the red light district were a 25 year old man was holding a prostitute hostage in her room at American Bar, when police arrived this man had a chair in his hand and was ready to use it on the police or anyone who tried to stop him, after numerous orders to put down the chairs the man kept on refusing and was destroying the prostitute’s room, after reinforcements arrived they took the man into custody as he was on some type of substance. Prostitute refused to press charges.

Robber stole a bottle of cooking gas Polis was sent to the area of Boegoeroei were the lady of the house explained to them when she went to cook she realized that there was no flame, thinking the gas was off she went outside to turn it on, and to her surprise the gas was gone. Police is busy with their investigation.

Food & Cycle stolen in Driemasterstraat. A thief entered a house in Driemasterstraat,and stole food items and a expensive cycle Trek 9000zr red color, the broke in trough the living room glass and made of with over 3000florins worth of goods.

Man found with nasty cut on his neck Some drivers saw on the way to Cas Ariba a man lying down on the side of the road, when they went to see what’s going on they immediately noticed that he was lying down in a puddle of blood, they called polis and ambulance right away. The victim was still alive and was trying to explain the police what happened, however seeing the seriousness of his neck wound, they decided for him to save his energy and get him to the hospital and would get this information when he is more stable.

Lady cut wrist after argument with her partner. Tourist Involved In Accident Police was called for an accident between a pickup & quartreacer close to Wilhelmina Park. When our Shoco Team arrived we realized that this involved a tourist. The tourist was in allot of pain, ambulance took her to the hospital.
