ppllying i Rosemary and Charlie Barbaro supplying some of the alcohol for the bar and mobile cool room which was a godsend. Joe Barbaro donated 9 cartons of beer and coordinated donation from Coopers and SA Brewery being 10 x cartons of Hahn Premium Light and raffle item. Wayne at Wizard Car Products had on display his products and donated a $180 bag of products for our raffle. Direct Freight Express gave us use of their industrial sweeper to prepare the venue.

The Whiteline Staff Phil Phil, Mich Michele, Brenton, Mark and Pondi were a great help setting up on Friday night and Saturday. Danny and Scott helped Bob prep and shine up the display in the car shed.

Thanks also to Chez and the team at Adelaide Sign Design for their expertise in bringing the Dia De Los Muertos Fiesta logos and themes to life in banners and posters.

Stall holders Lee and Julie with Hot Rock Gear, Pauline with Street Rod Parts and More, Wayne from Wizard Car Products, Pin striping Sam, Francis Macri with his collector c.d.’s and books and Whiteline Racing, with the stall manned by Ellen Cushnie all added further interest and colour for all. A it is with events of this magnitude, As help on hand is vital and to this end, we a acknowledge and thank, Brenton and A Angie Matheson, Brent was busy on t bar and Angie taking pics for our the newsletter – check out the gallery you might see yourself !!! As a result of the evening, a joint fund raiser for Foundation Shine Inc and Kustom Kulture weekend we were able to raise $9300.00 for the event, half going to each cause. It just goes to show not only can a good time be had, but good can be done at the same time – the result, we all win and many will derive the benefit. Those ssupporters of Kustom Kulture really b banded together to create something p pretty special. T Thank you to you all for supporting our c cause – as the header says, it was the iinaugural event, so let’s look forward to a an even bigger show in 2011 and judging b by the calls George has had so far, it w will be a highly anticipated event on the Rockabilly calendar !! R

Barbaro Angie Matheson, Matheson Rosemary Barbaro, Barbi Jones, Barb Reuter and Ellen Cushnie were busy selling raffle tickets and ‘skull’ shortbread biscuits. In fact it is fair to say Rosemary and Barbi were relentless in their raffle ticket sales – no one was safe !!
