INTRODUCTION AND HISTORY
• Kundur Grama Mandya District, BG Road, Malavalli Taluk in B.G.Pura Hobli. About 8 km from the taluk center, Malavalli Far away. • Panditahalli to the east of Gram Panchayat, cyathanahalli to the west, Marehalli to the north and B.G.Pura village panchayats. • The Kundur Gram Panchayat consists of Kundur, Shiramahalli, Thenkahalli, Malligahalli, Narayanapura, Kanchagahalli, Konanakoppalu and Thigadahalli villages. The Kundur Gram Panchayat has 17 elected members. • The main crops of the people here are agriculture. Most of the panchayat radius is rain fed. The main crops are peanuts, millet, corn, bean etc. • The Kundur Gram Panchayat is inhabited by linguists, okkaligas, fishermen, shepherds, kumbara, uppara, ganiga, agas, Vishwakarma, parishad caste etc.
