James Stewart, Grace Kelly and Thelma Ritter star in Hitchcock’s thrillingly claustrophobic classic. Laid up with a broken leg, photojournalist LB Jeffries is confined to his courtyard apartment. To pass the time, the binocular-wielding Jeffries observes his neighbours, and concocts a scenario in which one has murdered his wife and disposed of the body in gruesome fashion. The trouble is, Jeffries’ musings might just might happen to be the truth…
