SKINCARE 101 The TREND is in full effect! Make your own beauty masks. There are many places on the internet that offer recipes to amateur consumers who want to save money in an area of life that is more of a necessity that you may know. Understandably, it is very tempting to create a homemade mask out of fruits. The truth is that some of the concoctions may actually harm your skin instead of helping it. Some ingredients are not compatible. The citrus in many of the fruit ingredients have the capability of creating a peeling effect and can cause skin irritation. If you have sensitive, ageing or sensitized skin that is prone to redness or has recently been tanned, you definitely should think twice about using a homemade product. Organic products are not the same as homemade and are a better alternative to do-ityourself masks. Professional brands may be a bit more pricey, but are scientifically tested and compatible ingredients are combined. Sheshae is currently creating a line of products that do what they claim to do. If you decide to take a trip to the spa, make sure that the person doing your facial is a licensed Esthetician. She will be more informed, and if she is good at what she does, she will be more concerned with keeping your skin healthy. There may be procedures or products that are not right for you and instead of accepting your payment, she won’t be afraid to tell you “no in order to keep you beautiful. Stay blessed!
