The iconic Sheridan S featured on the cover was created using ink and resin, and cast from a 3D printed model, courtesy of Sheridan’s Craft and Design (Industrial Design) program. Accented by marbled texture, the vivid colour palette takes centre stage and represents the depth, energy and vibrancy of the Sheridan experience.

Safe space for all
At Sheridan, your unique background, perspective and contributions are valued. We recognize that identities intersect in many ways, and we actively nurture a culture that recognizes the dignity and worth of every person.
Institutional commitment
Sheridan is fiercely committed to the principles of equity, diversity, inclusion and decolonization in higher education. We’re dedicated to denouncing historical and institutionalized injustices that disproportionately impact Black, Indigenous and racialized persons, and acknowledge that people of privilege have an obligation to disrupt and deconstruct systemic bias.
We continue to take actionable steps such as:
• Required anti-oppression, anti-racism and unconscious bias training.
• Hiring Black, Indigenous and racialized faculty.
• Creating bursaries and mentorship programs for Black students.
And we’re part of the national 50 – 30 Challenge, which calls on organizations to diversify their boards and senior management positions to achieve gender parity — or 50% representation — and to attain significant representation (30%) of other underrepresented groups, including racialized persons, persons living with disabilities and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
We’re a proud community that supports our 2SLGBTQ+ students and staff with initiatives like Sheridan’s Pride month activities, Trans Day of Remembrance and student clubs that foster belonging and lifelong friendships.

Land acknowledgment
We acknowledge the land for sustaining us and for providing us with the necessities of life. This territory is covered by the Dish with One Spoon treaty and the Two Row Wampum treaty, which emphasize the importance of joint stewardship, peace and respectful relationships. As we reflect on land acknowledgments, let us remember that we are all stewards of the land and of each other. Sheridan campuses reside on land which has been and still is the traditional territory of several Indigenous nations, including the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Wendat, the Métis and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Since time immemorial, numerous Indigenous nations and Indigenous Peoples have lived on and passed through this territory. Sheridan affirms it is our collective responsibility to honour the land, as we honour and respect those who have gone before us, those who are here and those who have yet to come. We are grateful for the opportunity to be learning, working and thriving on this land.
Toronto is Canada’s biggest city and cultural capital. It’s vibrant. It’s eclectic. And it’s close to all Sheridan campuses — accessible by car or transit.
