BOOK REVIEW

Daisy Jones & The Six From the very beginning, Daisy Jones and The Six brings you back to your adolescent years. A time where you stayed up all night, running off with no agenda but simply followed wherever the night took you. I was hooked. Now, I didn’t grow up during the rock ‘n’ roll era. And honestly, I haven’t had much care about it. I mean, yes, I grew up listening to Queen and The Beatles but who didn’t? I was more of a Green Day and The Ramones fan - more punk rock than the

hardcore rock ‘n’ roll. But that didn’t stop me from getting completely sucked into Daisy Jones and The Six. From the first few lines, it instantly reminded me of the movie Almost Famous - one of my favorite movies by the way - and I couldn’t stop reading. From Daisy telling her story about waiting outside with the groupies to get into the show to Billy’s telling of the bands beginning and struggles, I couldn’t look away.

Daisy Jones & The Six BY TAYLOR JENKINS REID

Daisy Jones & The Six is a story so truly capturing of a time and place brought to life by riveting characters both bold, strong, and sometimes funny. And let’s not downplay how amazingly beautiful the cover design is - truly a 10/10.
