strengthens security. Lighting consumes up to 40 percent of the energy in buildings, but a well-designed lighting system will reduce both maintenance and energy usage in the workplace. Lighting is a major part of our business and with these LC Professionals we become the experts. The main focus of the Shealy Energy team is to focus on energy efficient lighting options and to bring expert advice to our customers. In South Carolina there are 23 Lighting Certified Professionals, 6 of whom work at Shealy. In North Carolina we have one LC professional but all 7 associates service both North and South Carolina. Most of the individuals on the LC Registry work for either power/utility companies or lighting manufacturers, with Shealy being the exception. Being a distributor that has the same knowledge and expertise as manufacturers and utility companies provides an advantage to our customers. We are able to help you design the best and most efficient lighting for your particular project. At Shealy/EDI we have 7 individuals with their LC and every year we continue to add more. Our current LC Professionals are located throughout both states and are available to help you with your lighting needs today.
