Kidney Failure

So life carries on with this four-times-daily home peritoneal dialysis adventure. Scheduling my days around health issues every single day for the rest of my life. Something I have to accept, but really, it sucks. Now apparently I am losing a bit of ground on my urea levels. Not sure why but it leads to me having to do ‘hybrid’ dialysis, both peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. So I am off to Cranbrook on occasion. At Christmas I will be headed back to Castlegar to check out training for a home hemodialysis unit. I tried it in August and had a very intense allergic reaction. That makes this a bit scary but if it works then I can still do all my dialysis at home, here in Invermere. My house will pretty much have its own medical room. Anyways, that is where I am at this week. Hemo in Cranbrook.

With such great prices this store definitely helps the Christmas budget stretch a little further.
