AmberVision works with the existing AMBER Alert System and has been developed to address the two key considerations of law enforcement when dealing with a missing or abducted child situation. 1. Speed. Time to issue the alert information is critical.

AmberVision Biometric Identity Verification

AmberVision creates a 3D animated avatar rendered from the child’s photograph to aid in recognition from off angles to improve the performance of facial recognition biometric software. A copy is included in the enrollment confirmation and is available for personal use Facial recognition software is provided to law enforcement officers to aid in the identification of a missing child

AmberVision Identity Verification Flow When a school subscribes to AmberVision, facial recognition software for smartphones and in-car computers is provided at no charge to local law enforcement officers. Officers in the field can use a camera in the smartphone or car to send a photo of a suspected missing child to the database for comparison to the image of a missing child that is active in AmberVision. Image is transmitted to AmberVision via wireless network System completes comparison and returns a result to the officer in less than 60 seconds The comparison result includes a confidence score providing the officer with additional information for decision-making

AmberVision Subscriber Program…….for safer communities A school may subscribe to AmberVision and promote participation by sending enrollment information home with students. Packet includes a paper enrollment form for families without online capability. Parents enroll information annually online and pay $11.99 by credit card School receives no charge vouchers for all students in the school lunch program and provides oversight and access to computers to facilitate online enrollment for students returning a paper form. School receives 50% of enrollment revenues to be used as they determine. Local law enforcement receives facial recognition software and username and password for jurisdiction.
