What are Plants?
â€˘ Plants are organisms. There are many different types of plants such as trees, bushes, shrubs, grasses, vines, mosses, ferns, and algae.
Where Do Plants Come From? â€˘ Most plants grow from seeds, bulbs, or spores. Since plants cannot move, they depend on animals birds, and the wind to scatter their seeds.
Photosynthesis â€˘ Plants have one thing in common, which is photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process that allows plants to take energy from the Sun and create sugars. Not all plants go through the process of photosynthesis.
How Do Plants Grow? â€˘ Most plants produce seeds. It is the work of a flower to make seed. Color and smell attract insects and hummingbirds to help in the flower's pollination. Plants have many parts.

Some parts of the plant are:
Fertilization of a Plant â€˘ When pollen from an anther of the same kind of flower falls on the stigma, each pollen grain sends out a tiny tube. The tube grows down through the style and pierces one of the ovules in the ovary. This process is called fertilization.
