Spring cleaning Students from the Indian Trail Junior High Drama Club, IT Service Crew and Builder’s Club pitched in to beautify their community by participating in the Addison Park District’s spring Park Pride event May 11. The students worked at Byron Park, shoveling and redistributing mulch to the park’s trees and planting areas.

Art in the Park looks for artists of all ages, artistic abilities SUBURBAN LIFE MEDIA ADDISON – The annual Paint the Can/Art in the Park event will take place beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Community Park, 120 E. Oak St. Participants can create art

for free; all ages and artistic abilities welcome. Each artist will take a basic 55-gallon steel drum can and transform it into a work of art. All supplies will be provided as well as light refreshments.
