HIIT - What is it? Stands for:

High Intensity Interval Training

Consists of: HIIT is a repeated series of highintensity exercise bursts at a perceived maximum effort. These bursts are followed by a recovery phase at around 50% perceived effort. Intervals are usually measured in time. Good for: Those who are seeking weight loss, can withstand high impact exercise and want to get maximum results in minimum time. HIIT is results oriented. Warm UP for 5 minutes at a brisk walk and/or jog.

Warm UP for 5 minutes at a brisk walk and/or jog.

For a time of one minute, alternate your intervals by toggling from 7.0 mph (max speed) to 4.0 mph (recovery). Repeat for 6-10 reps.

For a time of one minute, alternate your intervals by toggling from 8.0 mph (max speed) to 4.0 mph recovery. Increase your max speed rate each time by .5 or 1.0 mph. Repeat for 6-10 reps.

Cool down for 5 minutes and stretch.
