parks throughout Prince George’s County. The popular Shakespeare in the Parks program returns with performances of As You Like It at a variety of park sites in July. Grab a blanket or lawn chairs, pack a picnic dinner and bring your family and friends to relax and enjoy hot fun in the summertime!

Shakespeare in the Parks 2011 presents As You Like It Be transported by the Maryland Shakespeare Festival’s rendition of Shakespeare’s classic comedy. Enjoy the classic tale of Rosalind as she flees persecution in her uncle’s court and finds safe haven in the Forest of Arden. For outdoor performances, bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a classic theater under the stars. These performances are FREE and supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council.
