Dear Parents, It is a pleasure to hear from your children every year. Of course, they send me their lists, but more importantly they tell me what’s on their minds. And those young minds have a lot to say. They keep me up to date on the latest fashions, superheroes, gadgets and games. They share their joys and sorrows and sometimes ask for things that are beyond anyone’s capabilities. At those times, I pray for the words to come out just right. Parents, enjoy your children. They are young for such a short time. Love,
Up here at the North Pole, every day is a special day. Today is a very special day. We just received our first letter of the season. 1
It’s time for a celebration!
Pappy is the oldest Brownie. He called everyone to Town Hall. The Brownies are my helpers. Some people call them elves. I call them Brownies. Everybody likes Brownies, especially the kind your mommy bakes in the oven.
Everyone is so excited.
The first letter of the season means it’s time to get the toys ready for Christmas.
