Little Lady

By Twanta Moore

Special thanks to my children family and friends

Mommy said I’m no longer a baby…

But I’m growing into a little lady‌

My legs are growing long, and my feet are too‌

I can no longer fit my favorite shoe.

My clothes are smaller, because I’m getting taller.

I no longer stumble when I walk‌

Or babble when I talk.

I can run, I can skip‌

I can even do a back flip.

I can whisper and shout‌

If I’m sad I might pout.

Finger nail polish and big hair bows.

Every day is a fashion show

This little lady is so much fun…

I’m happy I’m mommy’s only one!

The End
