Education Initiatives EDUCATION GRANT SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES OTA educational meetings and courses are developed and taught by some of the most highly regarded orthopaedic trauma surgeons in North America and Internationally (pulling from a membership base of over 1,500). Research Initiatives RESEARCH GRANT SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES Among the highest of priorities for the OTA, is orthopaedic trauma research funding. The OTA funds trauma-related research projects to advance the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injury. All research grant applications are reviewed by the OTA Research Committee, and upon committee recommendation, are approved by the OTA Board of Directors.
