Announcement This week is the Annual Beach Bowl versus Socastee High School. Here is what you can do to participate: Go to ChickFil-A and have the Chick-Fil-A employee put your receipt in the St. James bucket so our school can maintain bragging rights and to win the $1000 prize. You may go to the store on 544 or in Murrells Inlet to store to purchase. Also, come to the "Chicken Nugget Eating Contest" on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. as Mr. Mahaffey will face a new opponent.

Announcement The Pride of St. James represented our community proudly this weekend at the Lower-State Marching Championships at Hartsville. The band place 6th out of 16 bands and will move on to the State-Finals next week at Batesburg-Leesville. This is a monumental achievement this year as our band is the smallest band to ever make state finals from Lower-State.

Announcement The Choral Dept. will be sponsoring a Hat Day this Friday, Oct. 28. For only $1, you can purchase a ticket from any chorus, Bel Canto, or Chorale member and then you can legally wear a hat on Friday. Tickets will be sold Tuesday through Thursday at all 4 lunches.

Announcement On Tuesday, Oct. 25, we will hold a Grad Fair for those planning to graduate this year. At this Fair all graduates must order their graduation supplies. The yearbook staff will also be at the fair to help with ordering of yearbooks, placing senior ads, and for students to write their senior wills. This event will be held in the cafeteria from 4-7pm. If you have any questions regarding the ordering of graduation supplies, please see Mr. Dietsch.
