Area 51 festival

{1341003566446549736}.txt Matty Roberts started the "Storm area 51" Facebook event and it went viral which understandably brought attention to the event by the Fed's.

Apparently not the attention he had hoped for so he had to clarify his event as a joke. Now with all of the interest he's gathered in the event he's planning a real event this time which is called the Alienstock Festival which will be held between September 19-22, the same time frame of the original event dubbed "Storm area 51" which has been scuttled.

From the website "We're aiming to establish something unique here, a meeting place for all the believers. Come out to the desert to dive into a world full of live music, arts, and camping under the stars".

This event is going to be in Rachel, Nevada which is a small town of about 100.

With very limited resources in the small town and cash only businesses the event, if even marginally successful could cause some unwanted effects.

From the website: Alienstock's website says it is "doing everything in our power to establish an amazing experience." It says there will be parking, camping spaces, toilets and drinking water provided, and they'll organize traffic, too.

They also claim that they have some big name performers coming to the event. The county sheriff's department and some federal agencies will be present during the event, according to the towns website, which also reaffirmed that anyone who tries to trespass into Area 51 itself will get arrested. The towns website also warned to stay out of the residential area of Rachel.

If you are planning to go there just heed the warnings and stay safe by bringing your own supplies as their is likely not going to be a visitor friendly population in Rachel if you need to purchase anything.
