Violin Masterpieces A Trumpet Extravaganza Scott Marino (Trumpet) & Jeffrey Uhlig (piano) May 17, 7:30 p.m. Playing not one, but four different trumpets, Scott will cover three centuries of music. Scott Marino Beginning his professional career at the age of 18 with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Scott Marino rose to assistant principal with the Orchestra. Scott has also performed with the New Jersey Symphony, Concerto Soloist of Philadelphia and New York National Opera Orchestra, among others. Mr. Marino is a graduate of the Curtis Institute and has taught in the Governor’s School, Glassboro State College, and the Hebrew Art School. He currently teaches privately in his Philadelphia studio.

Luigi Mazzocchi (Violin) & Jeffrey Uhlig (Piano) June 14, 7:30 p.m. Join us for an evening of virtuosic masterpieces for the violin. Luigi Mazzocchi Luigi Mazzocchi – Concertmaster for the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra and Associate Concertmaster for the Delaware Symphony Orchestra – studied violin with José F. del Castillo in his native country of Venezuela. Since 1996, Mr. Mazzocchi has been living in the United States where he studied violin with Liliana Ciulei at Rowan University. He has won many solo competitions including the “Del Castillo” Latin American and 2000 Temple University (PA) competitions. Mr. Mazzocchi currently resides in Philadelphia where he serves on the faculty of the Wilmington Music School.
