TRAVELFISH

Client: Travelfish Location: San Francisco, CA Date: December, 2013

Mission Statement: Travelfish is a travel agency based out of San Francisco, California. They dabble in the hotel business and they are opening two breweries in the San Francisco area as well. The name Travelfish came about from the word “travel” and “fisherman” being a translation of the owner’s last name leading to the name “travelfish”. Travelfish wanted their logo to be clean, modern and professional. I wanted the logo to work with their variety of practices and give it a global, all encompassing feel.

converse Client: Converse [School Project] Location: Bozeman, MT Date: September, 2013

Assignment: This project was assigned to my class during my Senior Year. The assignment was to design the shoes and packaging with a unique and effective design. For the Converse project, I chose to design shoes with a theme targeting San Francisco, California sports teams and their fans. I thought this would be the most effective design because fans are loyal to their favorite teams just as consumers are loyal to their favorite brands. I was awarded a Silver ADDY for my designs in the 2014 Statewide Student ADDY Competition.

honey

Client: Organic Orchards of Veradale Location: Spokane, WA Date: June, 2012 Mission Statement: Organic Orchards of Veradale’s goal is to provide our local population with as much of our limited quantity of apple crop and honey production as can be done without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides and/or pesticides. Organic Orchards of Veradale wanted a label which portrayed the feeling of a homegrown, local, organic product. They sell their honey in grocery stores and markets around Spokane, WA.

honey Wine

Client: Organic Orchards of Veradale Location: Spokane, WA Date: June, 2013

Mission Statement: Organic Orchards of Veradale’s goal is to provide our local population with as much of our limited quantity of apple crop and honey production as can be done without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides and/or pesticides. After designing the honey jar label, Organic Orchards of Veradale came to me for a label for their new product, honey wine. I wanted the label to feel consistent with the honey jar but to have it’s own locally grown feel.

SURVIVORS

Client: Senior Thesis Project Location: Bozeman, MT Date: January-April, 2014

Assignment: For our Senior Thesis Project, we were assigned to create something. Anything. This “thing” would represent a collaboration of what we have learned, what we are interested in, what we would like to learn and then to spend three months creating it. I chose to create a non-profit company designing graphics for women’s skis, snowboards and water skis. Survivors is partnered with The Essential Woman Boutique of Spokane, Washington in efforts to raise money, awareness and recognition for the needs of women with breast cancer.

BEFORE

The Bull and The Bear Client: The Bull & The Bear Location: Monterey, CA Date: July 2014 Assignment: Formerly The Mucky Duck, this American Bar and Restaurant was looking for a complete rebrand in order to shake the poor reputation associated with the previous owner. The Bull and the Bear not only references the historical bull and bear fights that took place in that location only a couple of hundred years ago but also resembles the current owners: brothers, whose personalities strongly resemble a bull and a bear.

holiday card

Client: President Cruzado, Montana State University Location: Bozeman, MT Date: November, 2013

Assignemnt: This project was assigned to my class during my Senior Year. The assignment was to design a holiday card for the President of the University to use for the holiday season. If chosen, your card would be used to wish Happy Holidays to all staff, professors, alumni, and family and friends of the President. I chose to draw my holiday card and focus on my hand-drawn typography giving the card a warm, friendly feel. My card was chosen by the President to use as her Holiday Card for the 2013 holiday season.
