The Annual Fund is the single most important fundraising program at Tower. TOWER’S 2012-13 OPERATING BUDGET of $6.4M will be funded by three main income sources—tuition income, earnings from the school’s endowment of $5.1M, and the Annual Fund. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating each child, which leaves a gap of approximately $3,300 per student, to be covered by these other sources. Gifts to the Annual Fund support the immediate needs of the school such as paying teacher salaries and benefits, utility costs associated with running a facility such as ours, upgrades to technology, books and supplies, and all other expenses incurred on an annual basis.
