or almost a year, Simple Stories and Scrapbook Generation sketch designer Allison Davis have been working together to bring fans of both companies a free monthly sketch and inspiration to go with it. This monthly feature -- Life Documented -- is a way to show scrapbookers just how easy it is to combine traditional layouts with the pocket page layouts that Simple Stories devotees love so much. Marketing director Layle Koncar oversees the Life Documented feature on the Simple Stories blog, and she explains how the series works. Q: Why did Simple Stories decide to do a month sketch feature with Scrapbook Generation’s Allison Davis? A: Allison has such a way of simplifying the entire scrapbooking process. It was a

no-brainer to invite her to host a monthly blog feature combining her fabulous sketches with our Simple Stories products. We’d received such great feedback from customers from the sketch book collaborations between Scrapbook Generation and Simple Stories, I really wanted to offer our readers the same ideas, on an ongoing basis. Q: How well do Simple Stories products transfer from pocket pages to traditional layouts? A: Allison has been able to take the Simple Stories concept of simply trimming our signature, cut apart element pieces and inserting them in our pocket pages – we like to call it SNAPbooking! - and combine with her own personal design style for gorgeous layouts, time after time.
