8/29 FALL DRAG SHOW Photography: Lauren Alsina Article: Jonathan Horton It has become a tradition for Pride Student Union to host a terrific, jam-packed drag show the first Friday of each semester. Students lined up all across the union with great anticipation to be entertained by our spectacular performers. This fall’s show, Drag Me to Hell, was a fiery inferno that brimmed with fierce drag queens and kings, and proved to be an amazing kick-off to a great year for Pride. Club Downunder was filled to the max with more than 350 people in attendance. It is always important for students to arrive very early because our shows always sell out. Continued on Next Page

FALL DRAG SHOW This show was hosted by drag queen veteran Jaeda Fuentes, who served us glam, humor and pure entertainment. Our other performers raised the bar this time with glow paint drumming, burlesque dancing and duo cameo performances. Our audience engaged with the queens and kings and was never bored. 8/30 AWAY GAME SCREENING Photography: Lauren Alsina Article: Jazmyn Reed

As the sun set on a hot and humid Saturday night, Union Green was covered in garnet and gold. Hundreds of students came to watch the football season-opener against Oklahoma State on a 30-foot inflatable screen. “I was so impressed by the turnout for our first away-game viewing,” said Senior class President Haylee Collins. There were students overflowing the lawn and the energy level of the crowd was great.” The event was sponsored by the SGA Class Councils, Inter-Resident Hall Council, Seminole Boosters and Union Productions. The event also included a pre-game tailgate with music, food, giveaways and information tables from several organizations, including the Asian American Student Union, Hispanic/Latino Student Union and Homecoming 2014. “I thought this was a great way to get more people involved with the event,” Collins said.
