Lady Blossoms Presenter: Karen Kennedy Lady Blossoms is a social etiquette curriculum started by Karen Kennedy in her spare time.

Project Read Presenter: Leon Veal Project Read is the adult literacy program of the San Francisco Public Library. It helps English-speaking adults improve their basic reading and writing skills so that they may access greater opportunities in their lives.

2:45-3:15

Ameresco Presenter: Dwayne Jones Ameresco has a contract with the San Francisco Housing Authority to install energysaving products in the homes of public housing residents. In order to complete its work for the Housing Authority, Ameresco hires public housing residents.

Toastmasters: My Story and Yours Presenter: Anthony L. Hogan, Ivolution Communications Anthony is a professional speaker for Ivolution Communications. He learned his craft at Toastmasters. He will demonstrate the speaking skills that got him work and will get you a job (first half of his presentation) and how you can learn those skills at Toastmasters (second half of his presentation).

RAMP SF Academy Presenter: Amber Whitman The RAMP SF Academy provides FREE job readiness services, work experience, educational services and support services, while earning a weekly educational grant.

2:45-3:15

Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development (MOEWD) Presenter: TBD MOEWD is dedicated to enhancing San Francisco’s economic vitality. It funds Community-based job training agencies and has information on the “jobs and careers of the future in San Francisco”.

3:30-4:00

San Francisco Housing Authority Concierge Program Presenter: Maripousa Taufetee The Housing Authority’s Concierge program provides employment opportunities for public housing residents and an extra measure of safety at the Housing Authority’s senior/disabled properties.
