SERVICES 4 AUTOMATIONS NEWS - LETTER TO OUR CUSTOMERS To Our Loyal Customers: In keeping with Services Four Automation’s mission to improve upon the superior support and service we provide you, and in following the example of our successfully growing and high tech customers, we have joined hands with Cimquest Inc. of Bedminster, New Jersey to better serve you. Cimquest is a highly respected Mastercam Reseller with a mountain of resources to expand and improve upon Services Four Automations current expertise. Together the combined talents in both organizations represent one of the greatest teams in the US to support CAM technology. We officially merged October 1, 2011, and we will now operate as a division of Cimquest, Inc. in our Sterling, Massachusetts office. Perhaps you are wondering how this change affects you — our valued customer. There will be no effect on you, our loyal customer. The entire team at Services Four Automation will remain your steadfast Mastercam and Cimco DNC software reseller for support and service. However, Franklin Lussier, a former partner, has chosen to move on and pursue other ventures and feels very confident that the team of experts at Services Four Automation along with the quality team at Cimquest is well positioned to take great care of your company's needs. In the near future, with the release of Mastercam X6, and our soon to be scheduled X6 Release Seminars, you will have the opportunity to meet new team members from Cimquest Inc. As Mark Summers, President of CNC Software puts it, ―We see this as a great development for everyone. The Cimquest/SFA customers should benefit from the combined talent pool resulting from the merger of both these leading organizations. With our product line expanding, it is ever more important for our resellers to have enough resources to effectively support our technologies.‖ Please continue to address support and service request to Services Four Automation 978-7280009, while all billing and payments will now go to Cimquest Inc.1545 Route 206 South – Suite 201 Bedminster NJ 07921. Mastercam - Act Now and Protect Your Investment Keep Your Shop Running at Peak Productivity You may not have realized that your Mastercam X was released nearly a decade ago. Computers have vastly evolved during this time and today’s CAD/CAM technology has taken advantage of those improvements. By not keeping your Mastercam system current, you are missing out on all the advances — not the least of which are dramatically increased processing speed, ease of use, shorter cycle times, and machining flexibility. If you are a customer running Mastercam X, now is the time to update your software. With the release of Mastercam X6 (coming in Fall 2011) Mastercam X will no longer be supported and you will not be able to update without buying at full price. By updating now you avoid having to repurchase the software. And, as operating systems advance, older software runs the risk of not running in these new environments. We frequently hear from customers using older Mastercam versions that have upgraded their computers only to find out that their older version of Mastercam will no longer run on these new systems. If you don't act soon you will lose your valuable investment in Mastercam! Some of the New Features You Will Benefit From by Updating             

Dynamic milling strategies that can decrease cycle times 40% or more and increase tool life New toolpaths take advantage of specialty cutting tools also decreasing cycle times Automatic 2D Feature Based Machining for quick and efficient programming of 2D prismatic parts New turning Strategies for better support of ceramic inserts.
