Everyone seems to be in love with your Sims machinima series, Life’s a Beach. Please tell us briefly about the concept and what inspired you to create it?
TWIST
Oh my gosh, I still can’t believe how far this series has come, haha! Life’s A Beach is about an ex-model named Skye who leaves her hometown to live on the shoreline, away from anyone who might recognise her as a celebrity. But she learns that reality is actually REALLY harsh and, well, haha, that life is in fact a “beach”! Honestly, when it comes to inspiration, I really can’t relate to Skye at ALL. I’m not super famous, I’m not a model, and I haven’t even BEEN to college yet, let alone graduating. I guess it’s just my imagination at work! When I first created the show, I wanted to make something fun (yet relatable) for the audience, tied to more realistic events and drama. Though I do end up creating some worse case scenarios, don’t I....
MARK STONE:
To be only 16 years old it seems that you have a very mature
mentality. What experiences have you been through to develop this without being too personal?

*reads “How Not To Be Personal For Dummies”* Hahaha, really though, I have no clue. I grew up as an only child and have only attended reaaaaallllyyy advanced schools all my life! Seriously, I go to the #1 high school in my state right now and I have NO CLUE what my teachers are saying sometimes. But yeah, I assume it’s because I spend a lot of time in my own mind, analysing reality and questioning every little detail I learn.

So we know that season 2 of “Life‘s A Beach” has started. Please tell our readers about the storyline and what we can expect different from season 2?
TWIST
Season 2! Season 2! I’m as excited as everyone else, ahaha :D I’ve mentioned this somewhere in the Internet before, but I’m focusing Season 2 more so on each character instead of just Skye. There’s a lot of interest in all of the supporting characters, so I wanted to give them some character
I know that you also have a band that you’ve created for the Sims International Film Festival’s Battle Of The Bands and they will be in Sims Fest. Tell us more about the members and their music?
TWIST
Yes yes I do, ahh, and I love them!! The band of mine that will be participating is called “Dissonance”!! I really love cinematic and dream-like, neoclassical music like Olafur Arnalds (*fangirl screech*), Emancipator (*fangirl squeal*), and The Secession (*fangirl explosion*), so that’s what kind of music they preform! I wanted to bring something new to BOTB, so their story is very different as well! The members are 22-year old Wolfram Grey and 18-year old Sara Hale, both who have very serious disabilities. Sara has an acute form of leukemia, and Wolfram is completely blind in both eyes. However, both share a passion for music, and wish for nothing more than to share their songs with the world! They are disabled, yet able!
