That’s why in 2021 we’re launching a huge range of virtual and face-to-face events, designed to support you and your firm as you adapt to embrace what the future holds. We have been all systems go here at SBG creating your 2021 learning and development programme. We designed our calendar based on what you asked for throughout 2020. This year will see the introduction of a blended learning approach as we incorporate face-to-face sessions, virtual classrooms, Future Learning Webinars, and a catalogue of topics hosted on Your Learning Hub. Exam Techniques Skills Workshop (RO1, RO2, RO3, RO4, RO5, RO7, RO8, ER1, CF6, CF8) Although these exams are multiple choice they can still be very difficult to pass. During this Skills Workshop, we will look at both initial study and revision techniques, as well as providing an overview of revision resources currently available to you, that could help you in passing these exams.

Exam Techniques Skills Workshop (AF1, AF2, AF4, AF5, AF7) Following on from the relevant RO and JO exams, these level 6 written exams will demand a higher level of understanding of the subject matter. During this Skills Workshop, we will look at some of the key techniques that are required to pass these more challenging exams, including understanding the command verbs in the questions, as well as an overview of past practice material.

Exam Techniques Skills Workshop (JO9, AF6, AF8, AF9 TBC) Although not exams, these modules are assessed through the submission of three coursework assignments over a 12-month period. On this Skills Workshop we will focus on what can be done to give you a greater chance of passing these coursework assignments. We will also discuss how to begin your research on these modules, looking at how to reference using MS Word, and planning a sufficient timescale for completing your assignments.
