RISE AGAINST HUNGER CHURCH-WIDE MISSION REGISTRATION BEGINS SUNDAY, JANUARY 26

COMMITTED TO ENDING HUNGER! Committed to the mission of ending hunger in our lifetime, Church of the Servant partners each year with an organization called Rise Against Hunger to fill 700 boxes with 151,000 meals and ship them to locations around the world feeding children who otherwise might not get a regular meal. In preparing for the annual Rise Against Hunger Packaging Event on Sunday, February 23, 2020, a special Fish Appeal offering will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Our goal is to raise the $46,810.00 needed to pay for the 151,000 meals that fill the 700 boxes we ship out each year. Consider this: $75.00 will feed 10 children 24 meals. $150.00 will feed 20 children 24 meals. $225.00 will feed 30 children 24 meals. Go to the following link to see one example of what your commitment to end hunger in the world actually does: https://vimeo.com/332501722 Thank you for your continued commitment to our mission of saving lives and ending global hunger! Be sure to invite your family, friends, and co-workers to participate in Rise Against Hunger on Sunday, February 23. Registration opens on Sunday, January 26. M&M’s RAISES MONEY FOR RISE AGAINST HUNGER! We all love M&M’s! Let your love for M&M’s help raise money for Rise Against Hunger. Here’s how: As you leave worship this Sunday, a high school student will offer you a container of M&M’s to take home. If you take a container, we ask you to do three things: 1.) Enjoy the M&M’s; 2.) Fill the container up with quarters, dollar bills or a check; 3.) Bring the container filled with money back to church next Sunday. A full container of quarters is $14. Our goal is to raise $7,000 through this M&M fundraiser.
