Thisschoolyearhasgivenusavastvarietyofexperiences andevents,butwhenit’sallover,whatdowedo?Dowe justmoveonandwaitforthenextexperience?Ordowe REFLECT,learnandgaininsight?Reflectionhasbeenan exercisethathasimpactedmepersonallythisyear.

我们以毕业典礼、年度生活营、家长及教师交流会（PTC）和 少年领袖大会来结束了本学年。这些活动赋予了我们独具意 义的学习经验，让我们不仅为各自的成就及努力鼓掌，一起 享受、一起庆祝个人乃至与学校共同经历过的过程，更重要 的是，我们一起反思及回顾今年所经历过的并以更好的姿态 迈入新学年。

美国著名哲学家、心理学家和教育改革家-约翰·杜威（John Dewey）曾说到：“我们不是从经验中学习，而是从反思中 学习。”领袖力大师约翰·麦斯威尔（JohnC.Maxwell）说 ：“反思性思维将经验转化为洞察力。”

这个学年里，给了我们各种各样的活动和体验，但当一切结 束后，我们还能做什么？只是单纯的等待下一次的体验？亦 或是我们反思、学习和加强我们的洞察能力？反思已经成为 了影响我这一整年的个人习惯。以下四道问题常常引导我如 何进行反思训练：

一）哪一些做得好？ 二）哪一些需要改进？

三）从中我学习到了什么经验？ 四）从中我体会到了什么？

我们与教师团队一起完成了本学年的回顾及反思。我相信这 有助于个人成长以及团队发展，让我们能更好的带领大家， 踏上新一年的冒险旅程。让2022这一个学年结束在珍惜共 同创造的回忆，感恩所有收到的祝福，拥抱所有获得的经 验，以及最后，反思！

Aftera2-year-hiatus,wefinallyhadourSJISAnnualCampagainon28thto30thNovember2022.This3D2N programwasaimedtocultivatethecultureofteamspiritandbelongingnessamongtheSJISstudentsasthe yeardrewtoaclose.Thecampwasdividedintotwogroups:theYear1-3studentshadtheircampatour SJIScampusaswellasZenXinOrganicPark;theYear4-11studentswenttoSENTAAdventureCampinBatu Pahat.

Herearesomecommentsaboutwhatthestudentsenjoyedaboutthecampthisyear!

Ithinkit'sthetimespentwithfriends thatactuallymadethecampfun.We didalotofsillystufftherethat,when wethinkback,reallywarmsusinside.

On3rdDecember,wesuccessfullycompletedourveryfirstin-personJohorLeadConventionhereinSJIS!We hadabout200studentswhocamefromschoolsnearandfar:SMKCanossianConvent(Kluang),SMKSeri Intan(Kluang),SMSainsJohor,SMKDato'AbdulRahmanYaakub(Melaka),fourdifferentschoolsinKluang whichwererepresentedbytheTheBoysBrigadeMalaysia(1stKluangCompany),andofcourse,SeriJubli InternationalSchool.TherewereaseriesofactivitiessuchastheMADgiftpresentation,booth presentations,MADprojectpresentationsandmanyprizestobewonaswell!

ThehighlightofthedaywasdefinitelytheMADProjectPresentationsbythe4HousesinSJIS(Aeris,Aqua, Ignis&Terra).Eachhousepresentedontheirprojectseloquentlyandcreatively,andreceivedmany positivefeedbackfromthejudges.

Finally,theBestProjectAwardwaswonbyHouseAquawhileTerra’sShiaJiaTong&AngZenKeenwere selectedtorepresentSJIStoattendtheTawauLeadConventionwhichhappenedlaterthatmonth!
