DORA HIGH-BAY SOLUTIONS Nowadays lots of industrial buildings are still using conventional, unefficent HID systems. In most cases conventional HID systems are less efficient and short lifed solutions according to new T5 technologies. To reduce energy and service costs, companies are investing on new efficent and long lifed T5 High-Bay solutions.

SYSTEM ADVANTAGES Most Economical Solutions Industrial T5 high bay solutions are on top economical solutions when energy consumption and installation cost are the cases.

Stable Light Output DORA solutions light consistancy are higher than traditional HID systems. Light sources have 10% performance degradation on all usage time. Traditional HID systems have 40% performance degration.

Suitable for Emergency Lighting DORA series luminaries can be optinally designed for emergency lighting. In this way under energy shortage luminaries will be on in a stated performance.

Long System Service Life & Low Early Foult Rate DORA series designed for T5 light sources. With low defect ratio (%10 defection for 23.000 hours) this light sources offer us minimum service cost and group lamp changing. Optionally extra long-life T5 light sources (100.000h) can be used.

Automotion Compability Unlike traditional systems, DORA systems are produced to compatible for automotion system like daylight control, central control movement-sensitive and dimming aplications.

Low Mercury and CO2 Emission 250W mercury vapor light source has 38 mg of mercury. Instead of this DORA has 2x54W has 92% less (only 2,8mg) mercury. Also due to high efficiency of this system, CO2 emission is much lower.


KEY ADVANTAGES

Maintenance and service issue are the main problems for T5 High bay luminaries.Due to unique design of DORA, on proper maintenance all parts can disassembled and alternative parts will be installed in seconds.

New generation DORA luminaries, ballast can maintained without any screws with this unique design, ballast connections, cables, lampholders and optical systems mounted on a moveable mechanism.

On traditional T5 systems,every reflector or housing can cause coordinate problems during maintanence period DORA designed with moveable mechanism where all optical and mechanism are fitted on it. This unique design give user to advantage on servicing issues.


GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

HOUSING DESIGN On DORA High bay solutions ,housing is redesigned to close screw connection gap on the back side ofthe housing. All inner companents are fixed to housing over a movable hanging system. All metal parts and accessories are welded to body and due to this production technic long time IP protection has ensured. Housing is made of 0,7 mm steel sheet which is anti-corresive iron-phosphate applied and electrostatic powder painted. Polyurethane foam gasketing is also used in High-IP versions. Due to this technique IP protection is guaranteed.

GLASS 4mm tempered glas used in high IP versions.


REFLECTOR Reflectors are made of %95 reflection rated, gloss anodized, %99,99 purity aluminium sheets. Reflectors are especially designed and optimized for high bay applications.

LAMPHOLDER Due to applied high temperature and electrical values, lampholders are one of the important components for system service life. The bulb temperature of high output T5 lamps are higher than conventional T8 lamps and these temperature will be extremly higher in enclosed luminaries. Because of this critical issue, only high temperature rated (T140) lampholders used in DORA luminaries.


BALLAST Three different ballast options which are standard, industrial or digital-dimmable can be used. Standard products are 50.000 hours rated economical solutions. Industrial ballasts are 100.000 hours rated long life and durable products with low defect ratio. Third option is digital/dimmable ballast which can be controlled via anolag (1-10V) or digital (DALI)

CABLE Only certified halojen free cables are used in luminaries.

CLIPS For providing high IP protection and ideal compression, one way hingled clips system which is made of corrosion protected material is used. Hinge system allow to open luminaire glass in service without any aiming problem.

PROTECTIVE FILM Glass can be covered optionally with protective film to help glass to disperse on breaks. Film cover can be, one or two sided according to customer needs.

Although T5 lamps are very high efficent light sources, they are very sensitive to ambient temperature. Reduction at the light output is inevitable if these lamps are used in enclosed luminaries.

To overcome T5’s sensitiveness to ambient temperature, manufacturers made more stable amalgam fluorescent lamps. These amalgam lamps work more stable over wide temperature ranges, By using these lamps in high IP industrial luminaries, system performance is dromatically increased.
