HAVE YOU HEARD of the television shows like American Pickers and Pawn Stars? Mike and Nichole from The Sell It Now Store travel Wisconsin and Illinois helping people find that $5000-7000 in their basement, attic or garage. Sound too good to be true? You might be surprised to discover how much these hidden treasures are worth. And better yet, they will help you sell those items to a worldwide market. Every day, The Sell It Now Store in Waukesha sells items all over the world. Recently, they sold a McIntosh stereo system for $8,650 and a Gibson Les Paul Centennial for $4,475 and a set of Herman Miller and Knoll chairs for an amazing $8,436. Where do they find customers to pay these kind of prices? They find them using the power of eBay. The Sell It Now Store is Wisconsin’s largest eBay Registered Drop Off Location and one of the top 10 in the country. They are similar to other consignment shops, with the exception that they have a global customer base. “We sell everything from cars to vintage guitars and amps, stereo gear, gold coins and watches, jukeboxes and pinball machines all over the world” according to Mike Boerschinger, owner of The Sell It Now Store. The Sell It Now Store specializes in items that have a value of over $100 to items that sell for tens of thousands of dollars. “We take care of the research of an item’s value, high quality photographs, payment collection, packing, shipping and all correspondence through the auction process. When the transaction is complete, we drop a check in the mail” according to Nichole Pirolo, Manager of Operations & Listing Services. They also have a successful radio show called Sell It Now Radio on Newstalk 1130 WISN that helps listeners identify and determine item values and offer eBay training courses. Take a good look in your basement, attic or garage for that old jukebox, gold coins, stereo gear, old guitar or amp and let Mike or Nichole help you uncover some hidden gems. FEBRUARY 2011
