To mark the year that has passed since the earthquake and tsunami that struck northeast Japan on March 11, 2011, CEO Ghosn made a special message to employees. The magnitude-9 earthquake that struck the Tohoku region of northeast Japan and the devastating tsunami that followed left at least 20,000 people dead or missing, and among those casualties were five of our employees and 17 family members of staff. Nissan has since made significant efforts to support local restoration since those life-changing events including binging our Iwaki and Tochigi plants back to full operation. GLOBAL RESULTS – [Alliance] 2011 Renault Financial Results GROUP OVERCOMES CRISES IN 2011 TO ACHIEVE REVENUES OF €42,628m, UP 9.4% • On 16 February the Group announced revenues of €42,628 million, up 9.4% on 2010. • Group operating margin of €1,091 million, or 2.6% of revenues, compared with €1,099 million and 2.8% in 2010. • Group operating income of €1,244 million, compared with €635 million in 2010. • Contribution of associated companies of €1,524 million, compared with €1,289 million in 2010. • Net income of €2,139 million, compared with €3,490 million in 2010, which included a €2 billion capital gain from the sale of B shares in AB Volvo. • Positive Automotive operational free cash flow of €1,084 million, including €627 million from a favorable change in the working capital requirement. • Automotive net financial debt of €299 million, down €1,136 million on December 31, 2010.

Bernard Loire, Infiniti Vice President for Europe and the Middle East, and Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President, Nissan Motor Ltd., and Infiniti Chief Creative Officer unveiled Infiniti’s first ever mid-engined sports car concept - INFINITI EMERG-E. For 2012 NISMO will participate in the GT500 class of the SUPER GT series, the top motorsports competition series in Japan, provide support in overseas races by offering its engines to teams participating in LMP2 (Le Mans Prototype 2) Class while supporting customer teams which use the NISSAN GT-R NISMO GT3, available to customers beginning this year.

AMI – South Africa Regional Highlights NISSAN LEAF LAUNCHES IN MAURITIUS • Mauritius is proud to become the first country in Africa to sell the LEAF. • The LEAF launched on 16 February at the Swami Vivekananda during a ceremony organized by ABC Motors which is the local representative of Nissan and was attended by 450 visitors including the CVP Gilles Normand, NSC executive, Mauritius Minister of Finance, Top 100 corporate/government customers and journalists

AMI – South Africa Regional Highlights MAURITIUS: N17 LAUNCH EVENT • Nissan launched its N17 model (Algeria: Sunny, other Africa: Almera) with an event at the Sugar Beach Hotel, Mauritius on February 16-18 • More than 30 NSCs joined from African counties and workshops for product training and test driving were held to promote N17 features • Expected sales volume for East & West Africa Region in FY12 is expected to reach 2,300 units.

Nissan Middle East is now offering the 2012 Nissan GT-R VVIP which offers a 24 karat goldplated side trim, grille, VVIP badge and carbon-fibre rear spoiler. For 2012, a a special set of unique 20-inch alloy wheels are also optional only on GCC-spec VVIP models which give the appearance of being finished in black from a distance but as light is reflected a golden refraction is given off.

Europe Performance NISSAN ACHIEVES HIGHEST EVER FEBRUARY MARKET SHARE IN EUROPE
•Following a record-breaking 2011, Nissan has achieved its highest ever February market share in Europe at 4.1% and increased sales by 5.5% to 56,733 units. •This strong performance was supported by Nissan’s dominance of the crossover segment with sales of the UK-built Qashqai and Juke, together with Murano, accounting for 55% of the monthly total. •Top-performing markets in February included Russia where sales increased 37% to more than 15,000 units resulting in a 7.5% share of the market - rising to nearly 9% amongst foreign manufacturers. •The UK also saw a significant 72% increase in year-on-year sales for February with France up 11%.

Nissan is pleased to announce the installation of the DC quick charger at the NISA office in Rolle. The charger is the first of thousands of Nissan-engineered quick charging stations to be installed across Europe by the end of 2012. In 2011, Nissan made a significant engineering breakthrough in presenting its own fully CE and TĂœV certified DC quick charger. This DC quick charger can charge the Nissan LEAF, or any other ChadeMo compliant vehicle, to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes.

NESAS is offering you the possibility to become a first aider at work (SST). This will not only be useful in your work environment but also in everyday life. To become a first aider, you will need to complete a two day training course focused on classroom and practical exercises. You also must commit to following a yearly 1 day refresher course to ensure that your First Aid Worker certificate remains valid. Training is available on April 19th and 20th, April 24th and 25th.
