GLOBAL – CEO Announcement CEO MESSAGE ON THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE EARTHQUAKE /TSUNAMI IN JAPAN

To mark the year that has passed since the earthquake and tsunami that struck northeast Japan on March 11, 2011, CEO Ghosn made a special message to employees. The magnitude-9 earthquake that struck the Tohoku region of northeast Japan and the devastating tsunami that followed left at least 20,000 people dead or missing, and among those casualties were five of our employees and 17 family members of staff. Nissan has since made significant efforts to support local restoration since those life-changing events including binging our Iwaki and Tochigi plants back to full operation. GLOBAL RESULTS – [Alliance] 2011 Renault Financial Results GROUP OVERCOMES CRISES IN 2011 TO ACHIEVE REVENUES OF €42,628m, UP 9.4% • On 16 February the Group announced revenues of €42,628 million, up 9.4% on 2010. • Group operating margin of €1,091 million, or 2.6% of revenues, compared with €1,099 million and 2.8% in 2010. • Group operating income of €1,244 million, compared with €635 million in 2010. • Contribution of associated companies of €1,524 million, compared with €1,289 million in 2010. • Net income of €2,139 million, compared with €3,490 million in 2010, which included a €2 billion capital gain from the sale of B shares in AB Volvo. • Positive Automotive operational free cash flow of €1,084 million, including €627 million from a favorable change in the working capital requirement. • Automotive net financial debt of €299 million, down €1,136 million on December 31, 2010.


GLOBAL RESULTS – NISSAN January Monthly Production, Sales & Export PRODUCTION AND SALES INCREASES LEAD TO AN ALLTIME RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY • Global production: 389,230 units /+3.7% YoY • YoY production in Japan: +17.4% (96,104 units) • YoY production outside of Japan: +0.1% (293,126 units) • Global sales: 379,408 units /+6.2% YoY • Including mini-vehicles, 52,977 units sold in Japan, down 29.5% YoY • Sales outside of Japan: +3.2% YoY to 326,431 units • Exports: 57,202 units / +19.3% YoY


GLOBAL – CEO Announcement NISSAN ANNOUNCES SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, has announced appointments, effective April 1, 2012. The changes cover the positions of Executive Committee Members, Senior Vice Presidents (SVP), Corporate Vice Presidents (CVP) and Vice Presidents (VP). Trevor Mann SVP: Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Purchasing for Europe is appointed SVP, Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) & Operating Committee – AMI (OC-AMI). John Martin: CVP, Global SCM returns to Europe as SVP, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering & Purchasing for Europe in Nissan International S.A. Gilles Normand: CVP, Africa, Middle East, India returns to Renault, where he is appointed Senior Vice President and Chairman of Asia-Pacific Region for Renault.

Toru Hasegawa: President, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. & Regional Vice President, Asia & Oceania Operations is appointed CVP, AMIE. Vincent Cobee: CVP, Global Strategic Price Entry Vehicle BU also becomes the regional leader for the AvtoVaz project.


GLOBAL – Geneva Motorshow 2012 NISSAN AT 82nd GENEVA MOTOR SHOW PRESS DAY

Andy Palmer, Executive Vice President, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Paul Willcox, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing Nissan Europe presented Nissan’s ambitions and unveiled four concepts – Hi-Cross, INVITATION, e-NV200 and Juke NISMO. UK Secretary of State for Business, Vince Cable also joined Andy Palmer on the stand to announce the production version of INVITATION. GLOBAL – Geneva Motorshow 2012 NISSAN e-NV200 MAKES EUROPE DEBUT

e-NV200Concept previews Nissan's next 100% electric vehicle and, following the multiaward winning Nissan LEAF, demonstrates Nissan's next step in zero emission leadership. It is based on the acclaimed NV200 that, in Combi and Evalia versions, provides affordable family transport with seating for up to seven.


GLOBAL – Geneva Motorshow 2012 INFINITI UNVEILS SPORTS CAR CONCEPT EMERG-E

Bernard Loire, Infiniti Vice President for Europe and the Middle East, and Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President, Nissan Motor Ltd., and Infiniti Chief Creative Officer unveiled Infiniti’s first ever mid-engined sports car concept - INFINITI EMERG-E. Infiniti also confirmed the limited production of 200 units of Infiniti’s 420PS FX Sebastian Vettel version for Europe and Middle East markets.


GLOBAL – Geneva Motorshow 2012 RENAULT AND DACIA UNVEIL COMPACTS ZOE AND LODGY

Renault unveiled a number of exciting vehicles starting with the world premiere of the compact electric hatch called ZOE. The vehicle’s dynamic looks and latest technology marks a new era in electric mobility. Renault was pleased to announce that Twizy - the small electric quadricycle - is joining forces with renowned DJ David Guetta as part of the vehicle’s 2012 brand campaign and Dacia unveiled their new MPV compact called Lodgy. GLOBAL Highlights NISSAN AND NISMO UNVEIL 2012 MOTORSPORTS ACTIVITY PLAN

Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. and Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (NISMO) have announced their 2012 global motorsports program. For 2012 NISMO will participate in the GT500 class of the SUPER GT series, the top motorsports competition series in Japan, provide support in overseas races by offering its engines to teams participating in LMP2 (Le Mans Prototype 2) Class while supporting customer teams which use the NISSAN GT-R NISMO GT3, available to customers beginning this year.

AMI – South Africa Regional Highlights NISSAN LEAF LAUNCHES IN MAURITIUS • Mauritius is proud to become the first country in Africa to sell the LEAF. • The LEAF launched on 16 February at the Swami Vivekananda during a ceremony organized by ABC Motors which is the local representative of Nissan and was attended by 450 visitors including the CVP Gilles Normand, NSC executive, Mauritius Minister of Finance, Top 100 corporate/government customers and journalists

AMI – South Africa Regional Highlights MAURITIUS: N17 LAUNCH EVENT • Nissan launched its N17 model (Algeria: Sunny, other Africa: Almera) with an event at the Sugar Beach Hotel, Mauritius on February 16-18 • More than 30 NSCs joined from African counties and workshops for product training and test driving were held to promote N17 features • Expected sales volume for East & West Africa Region in FY12 is expected to reach 2,300 units.

AMI – South Africa Regional Highlights NSA: ANNUAL DEALER NETWORK AWARDS • Nissan South Africa hosted their annual dealer network business conference and awards on February 16 • 95% of SAF’s 120 dealers and 333 people were attended • The event shared NSA Plan for Growth 2012 to 2016 • An award ceremony was also held for Dealer of the Year, Dealer Group of the Year amongst other awards were received

AMI – Middle East Regional Highlights NISSAN BUILDS A GOLD-PLATED GT-R FOR THE MIDDLE EAST

Nissan Middle East is now offering the 2012 Nissan GT-R VVIP which offers a 24 karat goldplated side trim, grille, VVIP badge and carbon-fibre rear spoiler. For 2012, a a special set of unique 20-inch alloy wheels are also optional only on GCC-spec VVIP models which give the appearance of being finished in black from a distance but as light is reflected a golden refraction is given off.


AMI – Middle East Regional Highlights TENTH GENERATION NISSAN SUNNY LAUNCHED IN REGION

The revised tenth generation of the Nissan Sunny was launched regionally this month and is expected to boost its position in the C-segment as one the most popular Nissan models in the region with the highest selling volumes in the Gulf.


AMI – India Regional Highlights NISSAN BECOMES THE FIRST AUTO COMPANY IN INDIA TO REACH HALF A MILLION FACEBOOK BRAND FANS

Nissan became the first automotive company in India to reach half a million fans for its Facebook brand page. Just four months ago Nissan launched one of the world’s largest online talent hunts, with fans uploading a short clip of them dancing for a chance to appear alongside Ranbir Kapoor in a 5-minute Bollywood blockbuster – New Star of India.

Europe Performance NISSAN ACHIEVES HIGHEST EVER FEBRUARY MARKET SHARE IN EUROPE

•Following a record-breaking 2011, Nissan has achieved its highest ever February market share in Europe at 4.1% and increased sales by 5.5% to 56,733 units. •This strong performance was supported by Nissan’s dominance of the crossover segment with sales of the UK-built Qashqai and Juke, together with Murano, accounting for 55% of the monthly total. •Top-performing markets in February included Russia where sales increased 37% to more than 15,000 units resulting in a 7.5% share of the market - rising to nearly 9% amongst foreign manufacturers. •The UK also saw a significant 72% increase in year-on-year sales for February with France up 11%.

Nissan is aiming to change the face of endurance racing forever by becoming a founding partner in the most radical motorsport project of its time – Nissan DeltaWing. A highlyadvanced and hugely-efficient Nissan engine (1.6-litre DIG-T) will power the remarkable DeltaWing car as it races in anger for the first time at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours (1617 June) and occupies ‘Garage 56’.

Nissan confirmed it will launch a new mainstream model developed exclusively for Russia and manufactured locally in Togliatti. The upscale, affordable sedan will wear the famous ‘Almera’ badge and will mark Nissan’s entry into the increasingly important mainstream market following its sales launch early next year.

Nissan and FedEx demonstrated the companies' joint commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility when a FedEx Express courier drove the Nissan battery powered zero emission e-NV200 prototype van to British Red Cross's Headquarters in London delivering donations from Nissan employees and a corporate philanthropic donation from FedEx Express.

NISA Announcements

Nissan is pleased to announce the installation of the DC quick charger at the NISA office in Rolle. The charger is the first of thousands of Nissan-engineered quick charging stations to be installed across Europe by the end of 2012. In 2011, Nissan made a significant engineering breakthrough in presenting its own fully CE and TĂœV certified DC quick charger. This DC quick charger can charge the Nissan LEAF, or any other ChadeMo compliant vehicle, to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes.

NESAS Announcements

NESAS is offering you the possibility to become a first aider at work (SST). This will not only be useful in your work environment but also in everyday life. To become a first aider, you will need to complete a two day training course focused on classroom and practical exercises. You also must commit to following a yearly 1 day refresher course to ensure that your First Aid Worker certificate remains valid. Training is available on April 19th and 20th, April 24th and 25th.
